Easy To Use!

Easy to use. Works great! It holds all four of our family's bikes.

Bike Rack

This is our second time purchasing this Thule 4-bike rack. It's easy to install and use. We put two adult bikes and two kids bikes. The top zip ties are a bit tight but work fine.

Not Secure

Purchased and used 1 time before returning. The "zip tie' straps come loose and do not hold your bike securely. If you want your bike to fall off the rack and be destroyed, then this is the product for you.

Couldn't Resize Hitch

I couldn't even use this bike rack. A flimsy l-wrench is included for resizing the hitch. I couldn't get the screw to turn enough to remove it. The screw is now stripped with no way to remove it from the hitch so I can't convert it to the size that is compatible with my vehicle.

Terrible Straps

Disappointed. We replaced our older Thule with the new version, and the straps are SO FRUSTRATING. Currently searching for a replacement solution that’ll fit on the rack. Until then, we’re avoiding using the rack just to omit hand injuries!

Easy To Set Up And Use

Bought this for my camper when the cheaper one ordered online never came in. It's much more sturdy and heavy duty. So happy I made this decision!

Easy Install

Ought it a couple of weeks ago, right before going on a trip. Easy hook up and held my bikes with no complaints.

Works Great With Extra Parts

The bike rack was easy to put together. When we went to mount bikes-kids bikes, we noticed that the horizontal holder are very wide. So wide that we had a hard time sliding the bikes on. We did get them on finally. We got the rack for a camp out the kids were on. Before we picked them up a week later, we purchased 2 Yakima Tube Top Adapters, one for each bike. They attach to the handle bar and seat post. They essentially make a top post for the bike. With this, we were able to easily slide the bikes on the Thule posts. You basically need the Tube Top Adapters to use this product if you have a step thru or kids bike. Adapters that we purchased were $60 for 2 on Amazon. Luckily we got the bike rack as gift.So we weren’t out of pocket too much.

Decent Mount

I bought this about a month ago and it has worked ok. It may just be that its so new, the straps are really hard to open to take the bikes off. Also, the biggest disappointment is that the size and shape of the rack does not fit with most of our bikes, so we will need to buy adapters. And it doesn't come with any way to lock it to your vehicle or to lock the bikes to it, so we will need to also buy locks separately. On the plus side, it seems pretty sturdy, though there is a bit more movement in the joints than I expected, so at first I was really worried about the bikes bouncing around or the mount swinging down while the bikes are loaded or on the highway!

Quality Is Good But The New Design Is Disappointing

This is the new version of this model probably came out this year or last year. My boyfriend has a same model annd he purchased few years back and we love it. However, this new version is disappointing, other than the straps are horrible, the rubber pieces that bike sits on would move and hard to get them back to original position. After first 300 miles trip with one adult bike and kid bike, the 2 pieces where my bike sat on totally dislocated and were pushed further away by the force of wind, had to take it back and replace a new one, and this time my boyfriend put multiple clamps on both sides so make sure they won’t move. I know once few years they change the design but this time it failed. And the previous design is already discontinued

Bike Rack Is A Dream, Straps Are A Nightmare

Bike rack installs easily, feels solid, easily moves out of the way. Straps to hold bikes on rack are unusable. They make no sense, requiring pressure in an impossible way. I had to use a knife to cut off one of the straps. I need a solution!

Good Bike Rack

Had to buy in a hurry so could not do much research. Good rack. Don’t like straps, like large zip ties. Not strong, bent one on first day. Sometimes hard to get off.
