Warm Coat Bad Velcro
This jacket is wonderfully warm and water resistant. However..I have had it for 3 weeks and the velcro gets caught on the sleeve and pills the material. For a $400 jacket that is highly disappointing. It is very noticeable and I am assuming will only get worse.

Warm And Durable!
Bought this as a gift about a month ago. She has loved it ever since. Said it keeps her VERY warm and the jacket isn't stiff like many others, allows her to move around in it easily. Very comparable to those expensive brand name jackets

Great Coat
Love this coat. The herringbone texture is really nice. Size up though, I am pretty much always a medium and I had to get a large in this.

Looks Great In Pictures, But Only Because They Don't Show The Horrible Velcro...
Very warm and comfortable coat. The style and color look awesome on the website. The problem is that you cannot see one feature- the long line of 3" velcro strips along the entire length of the zipper. First, it is very hard to close the flap with the velcro strips- it takes a concentrated effort to attach each strip separately as you work your way up after zipping. Second, if you don't zip it immediately, you will be walking around with what looks like an ugly line of color matching band-aids stuck on the front of your coat- very unattractive. Third, everyone knows what that much velcro is going to look like, especially when it comes in contact with a fuzzy hat or mittens- they will look like a line of band-aid shaped fuzzy caterpillars crawling up the front of your coat. This was a styling mistake that shoots down the whole design- and someone there knows it, or they would have shown the feature in the photos. Ugly, cheap looking, inconvenient velcro shoots down the whole design.

Warm Coat. Velcro Sucks!
I absolutely love my coat and the warmth. It’s by far the warmest I’ve owned. But paying 400$ for a coat with VELCRO is a rip off. North Face should have thought about that before adding that. It’s grabbing everything and ruining my coat.

Loved Everything…except The Velcro. Returning.
Great fit, warm, stylish herringbone fabric. But the Velcro was a dealbreaker. The online photos cleverly hid the Velcro in all the shots. It looks like a line of bandaids up & down the zipper line. And it snags. On everything. Your sweater, scarf, beanie…and the actual coat itself! So bummed as (aside from the Velcro) this is a great coat. I’ll be returning it.

Velcro Is Ruining The Goat
I love this jacket but the Velcro is catching on ever and snagging the cost itself. I’ll most likely be returning it.
