They fit true to size at the waist, but are quite roomy in hips and thighs. Wouldn't size down because of the waist. Very comfortable and the fabric is very soft. I like the length. It is getting more difficult to find shorts that have longer inseams. I am middle aged and my legs are strong, but not necessarily my best feature so i like my inseams to be 4 or 5 inches. The color is very pretty. I would consider purchasing in the black and gray when I have a need for new shorts in those colors.

Thick waistband, oversized fit so the shorts aren't tight at all. I normally wear a small and would choose a medium for loungewear. But these I got a small and they're perfect. I guess if you want more fitted you should size down. Otherwise perfect to wear around the house.
