Very Nice, But ...

Wonderfully made : good thickness, 2 chest pockets, 2 generous body pockets, panelling on shoulders, collar, and forearms. Nice materials (panelling, zippers, fleece). The blue color is very nice. Seems quite warm, breathable and durable. But, the cut. A LOT of extra material in the pit area. Arms up, you can see the cut has like 4-5 inches of extra material that just bunches up with arms down. Must not feel good when worn under a (rain / wind) shell. Not long, could use an extra inch to bring it down passed the belt line. Straight relaxed cut indeed. I am 6 ft, 180 lbs, 34 in waist, and Large was generous along the thorax. Collar and arm length are fine. I do not plan on wearing anything under asides a normal sweater . May return just because of the fit around thew under arms.

I own two Danali coats, and love them. I purchased two more in what I thought were two new colors. These coats are "relaxed" fit, but really should be labeled " slob" fit. The sleeves are ridiculously large. I am 68 years old and do not dress like a slobishly 15 year old.
