[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this jacket in a variety of activities in south central Alaska - from climbing to going to work it was a part of my wardrobe for the past few weeks. It is a fine jacket for casual wear but it didn’t have the features for more technical pursuits. It works best with a long sleeve layer underneath. I recommend it as a affordable casual piece, and as a technical piece if you need a throw around layer. Unfortunately the cut and appearance was not the best part; in asking colleagues and friends, it doesn’t look particularly high end.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new Nuketo jacket is a good everyday jacket, it’s not too bulky, not too hot, and still looks great. Seems like the little brother to the North Face Nuptse (without the bulk). Pros: - Good shape and silhouette - Fits true to size - Warm (probably down to 10-20 degrees F) Cons: - Technically basic jacket (no cinch, no hood, no vents, no inner pocket, just a jacket) This jacket likely isn’t going to see the summits of the world but it is the jacket you’ll grab going out the door when the weather cools. It’s got a good retro look without the retro downsides. DWR, recycled fabric and fill, and wind resistant fabric make this a great daily jacket. The fit is great for daily tasks: walking the dog, hiking, commutes, brisk walks in the rain, etc. but the range of motion can leave your tummy exposed when your arms are above your head. I had worn this out on a couple hikes in Colorado going down to the 20s and it held out just great. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

The Nuketo jacket has proven to be a very well rounded jacket. It fits comfortably and is true to size but has a nice squared look around the shoulders. The insulation is warm but compact enough to be used for daily wear and pack easily into my bag for work. It also has the comfort and freedom of movement for day hikes, and the shorter torso allows for ease to access pants pockets. For smaller packs it is a little bulky to pack when shedding a layer, but not nearly as much as some larger insulated jackets. (I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been testing out the North Face Nuketo jacket for the past week or so and have loved it! Unfortunately, it’s been a little bit warm where I live so I haven’t got to test it outdoors as much as I would like to, but I can’t wait to wear this jacket in the fall and winter. It is extremely comfortable, warm, and I loved the location of the hip pockets and the chest pocket to hold my cell phone. I only wish I would’ve got an XL rather than 2XL. I am 6’2” and weigh 247 pounds. The 2XL is a little big, but will be good for layering. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. My first impression of the Nuketo was that it was comfortable and fit well. It feels like a jacket that sits somewhere between an everyday jacket and a more technical outdoor layer. I would probably consider it more of an everyday or casual jacket, but the fit and low profile make it useful for short hikes and as a layer under a shell for colder activities. I really like that it isn't overly puffy. It provides enough warmth for cooler weather but still leaves room to layer underneath or over it. I've found it comfortable to wear for long periods and easy to move around in. The overall style is simple enough that I would have no problem wearing it around town, but it still works well for outdoor use. The DWR finish is nice for light moisture, especially when wearing it as an outer layer. I also like the feel of the outer fabric and stitching. They seem more durable than some of the lightweight materials I've used on other insulated jackets. I've had other puffy jackets get small rips or punctures pretty easily, so I would have less concern about stuffing the Nuketo into a backpack on an overnight trip and having it catch on a zipper or something sharp. I haven't had the jacket long enough to comment on long term durability or how it will perform through multiple seasons, but I can see myself using it regularly through the fall and winter. For me, the biggest benefit is the versatility. It's comfortable enough for everyday wear, but still practical for hiking and mountain trips, especially when I want one jacket that can serve several purposes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The North Face Nuketo Synthetic Insulated Jacket has a relaxed, true-to-size fit that provides enough room to comfortably wear it over a light base layer or midlayer. I had no complaints about mobility during everyday activities, and the relaxed cut makes it easy to throw on without feeling restrictive. The jacket has a noticeable amount of loft, which contributes to its warmth but also makes it more substantial in terms of packability. I was somewhat surprised by how much volume the jacket takes up when packed given its synthetic insulation. In the 50–60°F temperatures I experienced, it provided plenty of warmth and felt appropriately insulated for chilly fall conditions. The outer material also seems reasonably durable and well suited to everyday wear. I wouldn't be concerned about wearing it in light precipitation or getting it dirty during everyday activities. In particular, if you're dealing with muddy dogs, the material seems like it would be easy enough to brush dirt and mud off of without having to baby the jacket. Where the Nuketo falls a little short is breathability. Once you start moving at a higher intensity and working up a sweat, the jacket can get too warm pretty quickly. Some underarm or side ventilation would go a long way toward improving temperature regulation. I’d also like to see a hood added, which would make the jacket more versatile in colder or less predictable weather. Overall, I think the Nuketo is best suited for everyday use rather than high-output activities. It would be a great option for walking the dogs, running errands, or wearing to and from work, school, or the gym on chilly fall days. The combination of its relaxed fit, loft, warmth, and durable-feeling exterior makes it comfortable and practical for casual use, but its limited breathability and relatively bulky insulation make it less appealing for activities where you're likely to work up a sweat. Bottom line: A warm, comfortable, and durable everyday synthetic jacket with a relaxed fit and plenty of loft. Improved ventilation and a hood would make it considerably more versatile. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great everyday layer for cool mountain nights and the sidelines While the late summer weather in Colorado has been very warm, I was able to test this jacket during crisp, cool nights in the mountains. The jacket fits completely true to size. The relaxed cut allows for plenty of room to comfortably wear light layers, like a long-sleeve tee or light hoodie underneath, without feeling bulky or restricting movement. It is extremely comfortable right out of the box. The synthetic insulation provided the right amount of warmth for chilly high-altitude evening temperatures without causing me to overheat during casual movement. The jacket has a clean, versatile aesthetic that easily fits casual everyday wear. The shoulder construction and sleeve design provide full freedom of movement, making it very functional for active daily life. This jacket is an ideal outer layer for anyone needing dependable, no-fuss warmth for daily routines, cool-weather travel, and outdoor sports. It will definitely get plenty of use on the soccer fields this fall while coaching and standing on the sidelines during morning tournaments. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nuketo Synthetic Insulated Jacket is nice! I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review and am still needing more time to really test it. As of right now I like it: it is warm, light, and very comfortable. I will note that it does have more of an oversized fit so if you want it to be more fitted I would size down. If you like a looser fit with plenty of room to add layers underneath I would go with your regular size. For reference I am 6’ 3” and 220lbs, I got an XL and have lots of room to put other layers under it if I wanted. This jacket makes for a great day-to-day jacket or a great sitting around the campfire/camping jacket. I was planning to take it on my last camping trip but it didn’t get to me in time so it will be going on my next trip in September.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The most durable lightweight coat that I've ever worn. I can stack firewood and it doesnt get to hot while fighting off late summer and fall coldness. I forgot I was wearing the coat when just hiking hills in the late evening. The perfect coat for a early cool mountain expedition. Stood up to the tests of the day as I stack wood and set up a camp site in the Mountains of Maine , highly recommend this top performing jacket that I gladly still wear after the at no cost test coat from the North Face.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Big fan of the Nuketo jacket. I do already have some full puffy jackets, with thicker baffles and a hood, but they can feel too outdoorsy when I'm wearing them out to dinner or around town. But the Nuketo feels nicer, without sacrificing warmth. The outer material has more of a matte texture than the typical puffy. And it's slightly thicker/more durable outer material than a lot of nano puffies or packable puffies. Inside is really soft and the cuffs are just snug enough to keep warmth in without any drafts, but not so snug it's distracting. And the larger baffle areas (wider space between switching) keep it looking sleek and even a bit dressy. I was hesitant about the lack of a hood, but if it's that cold, you can just wear a beanie or hat. Plus, having the collar and no hood keeps the sleek nice look. Overall, the Nuketo is a good cross between a nice out-on-the-town jacket and a puffy jacket that can bridge the gap between style and functional warmth. Great layer to have in the collection that covers different scenarios other puffies would feel out of place in. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TNF nailed this versatile, lightweight, comfortable jacket. I was able to test the Nuketo out on some hiking trails in the Black Hills during some late, breezy summer evenings. The jacket fits nicely and doesn’t restrict movement, making it a great option for active outings and it’s light and packable enough that you could stuff it into a pack if needed. As far as temperature range goes, this jacket is not overkill for cool summer evenings, but is probably going to be at its best during chilly fall days. However, with the right layering, I wouldn’t hesitate to wear this jacket well into the colder months. I found the material to be wind-resistant and the elastic cuffs on the sleeves help keep the warm air in. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I have enjoyed getting to know the Nuketo jacket by The North Face. it will be an excellent daily use jacket this fall and winter. Professional design for meetings and conferences but durable enough for field work as well. it fit well through my chest and shoulders and length was perfect at the waist. I have long arms so I do wish there was an extra inch in the arm length. This will fit well over daily clothes or light/medium layers but probably becomes a midlayer in sub zero temps. I did not get to test it in really cold weather as NM decided to have a heat wave during this review period however it was very comfortable in the 45-60s that I tested it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave the jacket a 4 star rating because it trulyis a great jacket. I wore this jacket most mornings during the evaluation session and I was blown away at how warm it kept me. The only down side is its still pretty warm where I live so i wasnt able to wear it very long before it was to hot. This jacket is light weightand the fit is true. I only wore it with a t shirt underneathbut a long sleeve or a crew sweatshirtwould be just fine to wear underneath. Im 5'9 and 160 lbs and the medium mit me great. Now I just need to figure out how to keep my wife from stealing it from me. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nuketo Jacket is awesome! It’s a comfortable jacket that cuts the wind, holds in heat, and manages moisture very well. I wore this daily on my walks to work, with temperatures ranging from the high 40s to low 60s, and was super comfortable across the whole range. The fit was great—it’s a boxier cut meant for layering. The pocket placement was perfect, and who doesn’t love a chest pocket? I think this is a great-value jacket and a no-brainer layering piece for anyone who likes to spend any amount of time outside, whether in the city or on the trails. This product was given to me in exchange for my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I’ve really enjoyed wearing The North Face Nuketo Synthetic Insulated Jacket during my everyday routine in cooler weather. It’s comfortable, lightweight, and provides a good amount of warmth without feeling bulky. I especially like that it’s easy to move around in and works well on its own or layered over a shirt or light sweatshirt. The fit feels true to size and gives me enough room for comfortable movement without looking oversized. The style is clean and versatile, making it easy to wear for everyday errands, outdoor activities, or casual outings. What stood out most to me was the balance between warmth and mobility. It kept me comfortable in cooler conditions while still allowing me to move freely. I also appreciate that it doesn’t feel overly heavy when wearing it for extended periods. I think this jacket is best suited for anyone looking for a versatile everyday insulated jacket for fall, winter, and cooler-weather activities. It would be a great addition to a casual outdoor wardrobe and is especially useful when you want warmth without the bulk of a heavier winter jacket. Overall, I think the Nuketo offers a great combination of comfort, warmth, fit, style, and versatility. Based on my experience, I would recommend it to someone looking for a reliable jacket for everyday cooler-weather use.
