The flaps are cute but kind of get awkward when little one is in a rush. Medium fit 8 year old.

I bought this for my grandson who is 6. I decided to get the larger size rated for 10 year olds and glad I did because it has a drawstring adjustment and fits fine. He liked the old one that I got him two years ago with the lava like color. He should get several years of use.

I purchased this for my grandson to wear on the playground at school to keep the wind and chill out of his ears.

Although my grandson is 6 years old the large size fit. It is listed as for 10 year olds. I recommend the large size for kids his age. It is a warm and well made cap that should serve him for several years.

This style is okay but it doesn't compare to the Forrest Fleece trapper. I am eager to know if it will return this year.
