Will not ever recommend to anyone. The gloves tore within a week of use between index finger and middle finger. Worst quality ever. Not expected from North Face.

These are definitely not to be used skiing/snowboarding. I use them to walk the dog and are great for that.

Not Meant For Snowboarding...

These gloves are great for walking around town, walking the dog, or other non- "hands in the snow" activities. As described, these are not waterproof but have a water-resistant palm. Don't go snowboarding midwinter and expect these to work, its not what they're designed for.
