Love These Teva Hiking Boots!
I was hesitant to buy hiking boots without trying them on first but I love my Teva sandals so much that I decided to give it a shot. Like other reviews, the toe box area has ample room which is great for me since I have toe pain if shoes are too tight. I can see how they might rub the ankle and hurt, it all depends on how tight you tie the laces. I have been wearing them walking around my neighborhood on pavement and other trips to the store so far and they are SO comfortable. My last hiking boots killed my feet and were so heavy, these are fantastic!! I usually wear an 8.5 in boots and they fit perfectly. I’m super happy with these and my feet haven’t hurt once from wearing them. Can’t wait to go on hiking trips with them!

Very Comfortable, But
I really wanted to keep these. Wore them indoors one day and the balls of my feet felt unsupported.
At first try, they DO fell very comfortable. But for me, $175.00 is a lot of money! I would not want to hike in these and find out later that I will be sore.
If you don't care about price and want these as everyday running around shoes...that would be great! I almost kept them for that reason!...and then I was going to buy "balls of the feet cushions"...so I could keep them for hiking.
But back to the $175.00 thing...too much money...Sorry!
Suggestion...just add a little more cushion up front of the boot!
