I bought these because of their great arch support and their cool look and name. I never thought they would be as rugged and sturdy as other Merrell,but was I wrong,not only are they styling,but they hold up to rocky trails as easily as paved paths.All the while,they are super supportive and comfy.

Bought these mostly for casual use and light nature walks. They don't have ankle support for wearing on serious hikes with uneven terrain. They do have a slight platform, which makes them really comfortable and chic. I did take them to my trip to Utah this month just to wear around town and the airport and they were great. My only complaint is I wish that the shoe laces were a little longer.

Best Walking Shoes And Hiking Extra Use

I ♥️ these shoes! I walk about 6 miles in them and they are so comfortable. I also hiked through Idaho, Yellowstone and the Grand Teton with them. The Gortex kept them dry and the treads on the bottom kept me safe so I didn’t slip or fall during hikes. They also sparkle 🥰 with the gold design. I was surprised when I was hiking several times I thought the rocks or rough edges I scraped against would remove the texture. But it didn’t! I highly recommend these shoes.

Great for all terrains! I hiked Yosemite in April. All types of terrain. Flat and steep. Wet and dry. They performed great. Not a blister! We were doing about 8 miles a day. Lots of Valley and one to Vernal Falls and one to Tuolumne Grove. Lost toenails last year with the down descents. Not this year. Snugged up great. The tread gave me great traction and support when stepping on rocks and branches.
