I am writing to you first and foremost to congratulate you on the quality of your products. As a mountaineer, your thermoses are my faithful companions on my expeditions through the Andes and on every demanding route I tackle. The design, temperature retention, and aesthetics are outstanding; the attention to detail you put into every piece is truly evident. However, I would like to share some constructive feedback based on real-world field experience. I have noticed that the paint you currently use tends to scratch too easily when exposed to rugged environments. Furthermore, when setting the thermos down on uneven, rocky, or abrasive surfaces—which is inevitable in the mountains—the base is left completely exposed. This causes it to chip and dent very quickly, prematurely deteriorating what is otherwise a beautiful design. With this in mind, my suggestion is that you consider designing a thermos specifically engineered for mountaineering and extreme expeditions. It would be incredible to see a line (or a special edition) that truly withstands the rigorous demands of these adventures and the harshest climates, utilizing a high-resistance, anti-scratch exterior finish or coating. Additionally, to complete this rugged design, creating and incorporating (or selling as an official accessory) a silicone protective boot for the base would be key. A version with this level of exterior durability, paired with the excellent thermal technology you already master, would make your thermoses the ultimate, truly "adventure-proof" piece of gear for those of us who live for the mountains.

Product broke within a few months of purchase. The clip on the top cracked and the bottle no longer closes rendering it useless. Stanley told me this is a not a product defect and to kick rocks. Product is useless now and will be heading to a landfill and I’ll be buying another brand. Unfortunate.

I bought this because I wanted something a little smaller but not tiny. Great size, same great coldness!

The bottle is very nice! Like the size. Love the colour! Took some time getting used to the opening of it, but now it’s all good!!

This the perfect size bottle to take on my daily walks. Didn't give 5 stars because it doesn't keep things as cold as I expected from my experience with other Stanley products. It doesn't keep ice frozen for long either. I fill it with cold water and 1/4 full of ice then put in fridge overnight. The ice is melted but the water is then fairly cold to go for a walk. My 40oz Stanley's keep ice for days sitting out on the counter.

Great water bottle until the spring mechanism broke after about 3 weeks’ use. Not the quality I have come to expect from Stanley.

Received this as a gift and overall build quality and feel is amazing. I got the hammertone black because I felt it looked the most premium and rugged. However, do note that Stanley states under the paper given for "Care & Use" a rather surprising warning! Do not use with carbonated, citrus, or fermenting beverages or foods. Care & Use -> Warning -> "Do not use with hot liquids. Doing so may cause pressure buildup and lead to lid failure and spills or forceful ejection of lid and contents, which can cause injury." So for anyone who frequently drinks Coke, hot water during winter or lemon juice as their main drink, be warned. I haven't personally tried to see what happens when I put said advised against liquids, but I will be trying out some 55 degrees Celsius water to see what happens. Also, the one handed drinking experience is absolutely sick, the cap pops up nicely and stays in place firmly. The whole cap feels firm and it's easy to learn. Very innovative. And, it is actually completely leak proof when I shook the bottle, even when inverted.

I bought this about a month ago and love this water bottle. Ice fits in the opening and there are not extra parts (straw) to clean. The hole for drinking out of is a great shape that's easy to chug water when I'm really thirsty and the carry handle is strong. It also fits in my car cupholder (my last one of a different brand did too, but was only 18 oz and didn't hold enough liquid).

Great product that does exactly what I needed, keeping my water cold and the spout clear of grass clippings, dust, and dirt. It's easy to open with one had once you have practiced with it.
