I love this water cooler. I had the previous version but broke it, dropping it off a 4’ high wall and landing it on the top will break the ring that holds the clamps. So I bought a new one. And I’m happy I did. The new spout is angled just slightly out making it easier to get a cup or jug in there to fill. Holds 2 gallons of beverage and keeps it cold for a long time. I bring it full for a 24 hour shift and take it home almost empty the next day but the water left in it is still ice cold. Love it.

Very good you want be disappointed, it is a great purchase and worth every cent

Love it. It is much easier on my hand joint issues than the turn spout kind. Pretty easy to clean and put back together. I wish they sold it in larger sizes for longer camping trips!

These 2 gal coolers are the perfect size for what we needed! They are easy to move around as needed but keeps things cool for the extended time.

This is the optimal size for storing/pouring a larger volume. Easy carry, good spout, no frills. Filled with ice and topped with water is kept things chilled for 3 days, enough for a camping trip. The insulation could be better, but compared to the price of similar RTIC and YETI units? this is. a steal!
Disappointed
The spout leaks. It was supposed to be under warranty but apparently Stanley doesn't stock replacements. It's been several months. It does make a nice, oversized ice bucket but its not what we paid for. Disappointing. I thought Stanley would do better standing by their products.

Sticking valve ruins a premium productPros: Clean design, good for kitchen use.Cons: Faulty valve mechanism, poor longevity.I am very careful with my possessions and still own working gear from the early 2000s. Unfortunately, this Stanley jug hasn't lasted even a full year. It lives exclusively in my kitchen and has never seen outdoor use. Despite this gentle treatment, the valve now sticks completely. When you push it down to pour, it stays down. You have to physically pull it back up to prevent water from spilling everywhere. There is no reason a jug at this price point should have such a flawed mechanism.

Works great for keeping ice water and the spout is great. The downside is the lid/handle situation. I have to carry this thing full of water across a warehouse while wearing a backpack and shouldering a loaded cooler, and it gets heavy. It needs a carry strap. At some point the jug took a tumble and the lining, which is attached to the clips that hold the lid that also acts as the carry handle, started to separate from the main housing. Now the latches don’t latch as tight as before. So every time I carry it with the 16 lbs of water by the handle, the lining separates even more as more of the latch screws pull apart. Needs a strap.

Bought this for a hiking vacation to have extra water stay cold in the car for our family. The size was right and it did a good job keeping water cold. However, regardless of where it was - in the car or in the house - the area around the spigot often leaked water. I unscrewed and re-tightened the spigot screw on the inside thinking that would resolve it, but it continued to leak around the spigot.

Works great at keeping ice cold for days and water nice and cold but LEAKS. Spout gets stuck!

I love the whole concept of this jug. We use it for softball tournies. My biggest complaint is that after so many refills of ice and water, the spout can become loose from the inside and begins to leak unless it’s retightened. The spout is removable for proper cleaning, however, it exposes the hole where the insulation was inserted causing concern for possible mold buildup if water resides in the said hole if there is improper drying, or quick use after washing.
