I struggle to find boots that fit. I have a very high instep and typically can't get my foot into a boot unless it opens up fairly well with a zipper or lace. These were easy enough to get into, and although it's only mid-November and I haven't worn them on a cold, wet, snowy day, they seem to be fairly warm -- there's a thick liner inside the boot that extends from the toes all the way up the leg. The boots are attractive, and will look good with jeans or leggings. Best of all, they were available in a size 10.5. For some reason, a lot of shoe manufacturers, even those that typically carry half sizes, do not make a 10.5. It's usually 8, 8.5, 9. 9.5, 10, 11, 12. What? So those of us with big feet don't get to have shoes that actually fit? It's crazy! Apparently Sorel has the common sense to make a 10.5. I'm a happy customer, and in the future will look for Sorel if I need shoes or different boots!

These shoes are really beautiful, comfy (be careful it might be difficult for large feet), warm and can go with different types of clothing. You can walk easily in different types of roads ( not for trail, running for sure)

I have an older pair of Joan of arctic and love them. I ordered the same size and different color. It is extremely smaller than my other pair. Quality isn’t as sturdy. I’m disappointed with the inconsistency within the same brand and quality. Having a boot that is tight in the snow isn’t comfortable. My feet are narrow. Extremely disappointing.

I normally wear an 8 1/2. So I ordered an 8 1/2 and when I received them my toes were hitting. I was hoping that they would stretch out but after research I see that they don’t. So I returned them and purchased a nine and they are perfect. So if any of you are on the fence, I would do a half size up. These are definitely not “hiking boots“ they are more like snow boots. I do take my dogs walking along pads and along snowy beaches, so these will be perfect but when I go hiking, I probably will find something that is not as bulky.

these are really nice winter boots, especially for deep snow. very warm and secure. the problem is that if you plan to walk in them for more than 15minutes, it will give you blisters on your ankles as the solid part of shoe doesnt flex well when you walk and its pretty painful.

I bought these just over a year ago, living in a snow belt area. I’ve always been a Columbia girl, but let a friends high praise get to me. I no longer trust her judgment - these boots are awful. While they are waterproof to an extent and warm, that’s about it. The bottom of the boots, despite only being worn maybe 50 times, has practically smoothed out resulting in only being usable in rain. Not snow, definitely not ice. The foot lining on the inside is laughable. You feel every pebble and twig you step on. Sorel will not be getting a cent from me in the future.
Nice looking but push your Achilles tendon forward and the toebox is not big enough or long enough. Can’t walk well in these they are awkward. Not enough support for the price. They look really stupid unless you have kid sized legs as the fur won’t go but halfway around your legs even if you’re not quite wide calf. If you have tiny or super small legs you might like them. Definitely not for many people.

I like the boots and went half a size up which fit perfectly lengthwise but the width was very wide both in the foot section and the ankle. This mean they rub as I walk which is a shame.

These are truly lovely boots: vary stylish and very comfortable!

Love this pair. It is very warm, perfectly waterproof, and traction is great as well. They look very cute on. Love them.

These boots fall short on warmth. I do not recommend these if you need to keep your feet warm in the winter. I believe these boots actually trap cold air. I couldn’t be outside more than 20 minutes without my feet getting cold. Very cute boots, but not very functional.

I love the look of this boot. However the height of it really constricts the flex of your foot and makes it difficult to walk comfortably. It is also a challenge when driving.

I might as well have spent far less money on another brand for the same results! Was supposed to be good on ice, these were HORRIBLE on ice! Not to mention, the sizing on Sorels all differ so I had to order 2 pairs of these along with other styles and multiple sizes because their sizing is all over the place. The only good thing is they’re cute. But honestly not worth the money. If you’re looking for cute but not practical, here you go. I will NEVER but another pair of Sorels! If you do buy these, they are true to size and have toe room.
