Almost Crampons

The Snowline Chainsen Ultra Crampons are somewhere between microspikes and crampons. For my crampons to be secure I have to wear mountaineering boots, which is fine in the winter. For the rest of the year when I am wearing hiking or approach shoes and need traction on snow fields these Ultras fit securely. They have good size spikes for microspikes and front points like crampons; so, good enough for climbing moderate inclines. I wear a women's size 8.5 and medium works.
