The bottle is horrible considering the price. The lid with an opening leaks which defeats the purpose. It is actually pretty heavy for the size. Heavier than my 20oz Zojirushi bottle. And it retains heat worse than any other bottle I have tried. In just about 10 hours, the boiled water temperature dropped to just 45C in the Snow Peak bottle, while in the Zojirushi bottle it dropped to 75C over the same period. For the price, this bottle is absolute trash. But I would not even pay a fraction for it.

Can’t be more happy with this purchase. A must for any snow peak fan. I would recommend this bottle for anyone who likes the finer things in life.

Snow Peak Titanium is #1 in quality! In addition this bottle is light enough to take backpacking. Bonus feature is you can store a 12 oz. can of coke inside and it stays cold for 6 hours

The Top Line Its a beautiful Titanium Bottle with some significant quirks. The Pro Its wonderfully light in a pack. The Con Three lids < one great lid. The insulated thermal lid leaks enough to dampen a paperback in a book bag and the tumbler lid is no good in a tumble. The lack of a good seal in 2 out of 3 lids is a significant disapointment for a high end water bottle. (I have never tried the cooler lid) The Question Is the weight and finish of a titanium bottle worth the occasional soggy surprise?

It keeps things hot and cold amazingly well for something so light. The hot and cold lids do a good job keeping the bottle sealed, I haven't used the drinking lid at all. I find myself using this a lot at home for coffee or tea just to drink out of - even without the lid, it will keep liquids warmer for much longer than a regular mug. Important downside: the instructions note that you should not use this for holding tea - it's fine if you are drinking tea as soon as you make it, but if you store tea in the bottle for very long (especially with the lid on), the tea gets an unpleasant taste. So if you are primarily a tea drinker (hot or cold), don't get this bottle.

I love my Snow Peak Kanpai bottle. My coffee stays super hot and it is very lightweight too. It comes with a couple of interchangeable tops.

The Snow peak titanium bottle is light and thermal/ cold conservation functions, including three types of cover for different using way. In addition, bottle is made in Japan, but so expensive.

OK, let's admit it. No one really needs to spend this amount for a decent mug. The real question is should you? Unequivocally YES! You deserve it. You will enjoy drinking out of pure titanium, the healthiest metal in the world. The three lids give you an awesome array of ways to use this mug. Simple screw on cap? Check. Sip through cap? Check. A cap with actual gel within that you can put in the freezer and then put on your bottle to keep your cold drink very cold for ages? Check! That one too! One of the things I love is that it is wide, making it so easy to clean. I can reach my hand right in there to give a gentle scrub. The manufacturer is one of the oldest and most respected working with titanium, so you will not be getting some new to the market amateur making your mug. The caps, by the way, are all BPA free. The cool factor is undeniable. Sure, sure, some won't have a clue about your awesome new mug, but for those who do your street cred just rose dramatically, and besides, YOU know, and you know you deserve this in your life!

Thermo properties are hands down the best I've experienced. The cost well, you get what you pay for!!!! I like the strength and weight factor of TI. I've already emailed snow peak to see if I can buy extra oring seals cause this product will last LIFETIMES!!!!! Peace

The insulating quality is not as good as something that is other insulated coffee containers, however, it does the job for 4-6 hours. The lids could use 'traction" for turning as when they are wet, they are difficult to tighten/untighten. Weight of container is accurate. Good quality product.

I think this bottle is money well-spent. It keeps my coffee hot all day long. I rate it a four star instead of five is that the plastic tumbler lid seems a bit conventional and under the sunlight it seems to be very dusty and difficult to wipe clean. In the dusty environment one has to blow away the dust first.
