My Go To Sock For All The Running

These are the only socks I will wear for long training runs, marathons and ultra marathons. I have at least a dozen pair and some are over 7 years old and still holding up! They are comfortable, and I get less blisters than anything else I’ve worn.

Feels Great

These are very comfortable socks. They are not too thick. I was using a sock that was thick thinking that it would be good for me to wear while I am doing my walks. But No. But these socks are very comfortable not too thick just the right thickness in the right places. I will be purchasing them again. And being that I live in a hot state my feet where not hot and uncomfortable.

Perfect Summer Socks

I have a good news bad news relationship with these socks - they are so perfect for my needs, so comfortable, and keep my feet so happy that i threw out about 40 other pairs of expensive run hike socks. They are a terrific weight and i can run in them, or hike the steep mountains of Oregon in them - my feet are happy and blister free. They are great in summer because they are lower than regular crew socks - no terrible farmer tan lines - but taller than no show socks (I tossed out 30 of those) so crap doesn’t fall in. Perfect summer socks.

My Favorite Partially Cushioned Socks

I already have two pair of these and jumped at the chance to buy a couple more when they came on sale. The color is true to the photos and long lasting. I really like this particular color and it goes with a lot of different shoes, pants, and shirts I own - both summer and winter styles. I really like the targeted cushioning - not too much and not too little in any one spot. Oh, and the initial pairs I have are more than 2yrs old and look / feel almost brand new.

Smartwool has the best socks on the market. I have quite a few that are mostly hiking and skiing. I decided to try the running in the light and no cushion. Both are great but I prefer the light cushion if I had to pick. The ankle is high enough to help with my running shoes which have a high heel support. I constantly recommend Smartwool to others.

Perfect Running Ankle Socks

My running shoes have a lip on the top of the back of the heel that digs into my skin. I needed taller socks to give my skin a break and these are perfect. They stay perfectly in place on my foot while I'm running whether its 1 mile or 10.

Totally Worth It.

Until recently, I had lazily reverted to just adding a basic sock order when I refreshed other necessities through whichever non-amazon site I was using but after a long walking trip abroad over Christmas, I intentionally sought out Smartwool socks to replace all my standard cotton versions. I only had one Smartwool pair with me for the trip and I ended up re-wearing them day after day because they felt the best. They stayed in place. They had thick, natural cushioning. They were cozy without cutting off my circulation. I found I wished I had packed more but I also knew I only had 2 pair in my drawer because I haven't bought Smartwool in years. I just forgot how much quality matters. It's not that my feet only hurt when we're on a long trip, it's just that I would never otherwise rewear socks day after day. But when your options are limited, the simplicity of your needs are clear! Smartwool socks are different from other socks and those differences make it absolutely worth a few extra minutes online. Also, I love the new colorful stripes I've chosen and how they are just slightly visible when I sit or step up. . . . cute. comfortable. pretty fabulous. Thanks!
