[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two of these tops to travel around France in September when it was still quite warm. They were the shirts I wanted to wear most often. They are lightweight, not scratchy, breathable and didn’t retain any odors so I could wear them a few times before handwashing them in my hotel room. They are easy to wear casually or cover with a sweater for evening and dress up or down with a scarf or necklace. I was very happy I brought them on my trip. I am going to buy my husband the men’s version for Christmas.

It looks and feels so good! It can be dressed up or down, and it is not as sheer as some of their other products.

I wore this shirt for a whole week of backpacking. It never got smelly and it kept me warm. I was really pleased with how dry I stayed, even after hiking and sweating all day.

Fabric is comfy but does not look very good on. Fabric does not drape well and looks rumpled and messy. I would not buy these again, and I bought three of them. Never wear them except to maybe sleep in.

I have several short sleeved wool tshirts and i love them to death! I hardlywear anyting else except when it's really hot. They always look good, never get frumpy after a while the way cotton does and feel so cozy! I live at the coast where it's mostly foggy all summer long so a wool tshirt is perfect most of the year. In the winter, when it's really cold, I double them up and wear two. Although they're pricey, i buy them as gifts for friends and family knowing they'll fall in love with these cozy, good looking and durable shirts too. I would give 5 stars if the crew neck style neckline is cut a little lower so it falls south of my clavicle and doesn't feel a little choky when i wear it. I would LOVE a vNeck style and a 3/4 sleeve option. Also more colors, in stock all year, please. I've been watching the website all year and my favorites, light silvery grey, aqua, cerulean blue and wine red, don't seem to be available. So, please, don't wait until christmas season to re-order and re-stock. People need these things all year.

I wore this all season smart wool hiking in the Dolomites. It was amazing. Light weight and didn’t smell. It felt great against my skin. I highly recommend. I prefer it to the thermal which is too hot.

Best hiking shirt I have ever had. Took it hiking all over the Lake District in England. Not too hot, not too cool. Wiked moisture away. No sweaty shirt. Didn't stink. When I washed it out in the sink and hung it up, it was dry by the next morning. Honestly, I will never wear another shirt hiking again.

I like the feel and weight of this top, but it is definitely smaller than I expected. I wish I could exchange for a larger size.

This is the softest possible wool, very smooth and cozy. I wore it to teach a yoga class yesterday, on a fresh September day, and was comfortable. Not too hot at all. Actually, I've now got this tee in two colors.

I love this shirt. It’s not heavy or itchy. I wore it 4 days with a good deal of sweating and no washing in between. It dried out nicely each day and had zero odor.

Side seams did not stay straight when washed and dried, as per the washing instructions. Disappointed!

Fantastic shirt both in fit and quality! Light and perfect for long hikes or even daily wear especially in the heat. Smartwool did not disappoint and appear adding more to my collection!

This is your new go-to every day basic tee AND your favorite workout tee. Super comfortable and wicks sweat so it doesn't stink. You can ride your bike to an event and look normal without sitting in your sweaty cycling kit. Endless options. I have it in 2 colors and wish I had more!

Light weight and fits very well. Pair with a sports bra for comfort while hiking or T Shirt bra for everyday wear. Elevate everyday wear by adding a nice necklace and blazer.
