Very Comfortable

Perfect for warm weather, breathable. Quality of fabrics is nice, it feels good against your skin, almost silky but its not merino wool. Maybe some pocket lining is merino wool, the rest of the fabrics is polyester. Waist is large bit the rest is true to the size .Drawstring is helpful since is can be loose around the waist. Doesn't wrinkle.

Nice Shorts

I love these shorts, the material is nice and soft. They look cute on as well. I am 5’11 at 155 pounds and got L. You can wear these to hiking, or just out and about. Like the other review said, tho, the zippers on the side pockets are unnecessary. I have the same shorts in a shorter version and they have no zippers and it’s much better.

Shorts That Move

Didn’t realize the only part lined with Merino is the waistband (and front pocket lining feels similar); the rest is synthetic. Guess that’s what “Waistband lined with Merino…” means - doh! Like the main fabric being thin yet sturdy with tight weave. Love zippers on front pockets, would like on back too. Will take traveling to wear walking/hiking, or under a thinner casual skirt to use the pockets and act like a slip.

Favorite Shorts!

I have these in multiple colors. I have run, hiked,gone to the gymn and played tennis in them. They are by far the favorite shorts I have had in a looonggg time. And zippred pockets are great!!
