Itchy And Tight In Shoulders

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was jealous of my boyfriend's Smartwool shirts so thought I'd get my own. Sadly, while his old 150s are soft on the skin, this new "all-season" feels like a hair shirt. Brief internet research tells me they switched from 100% merino to a nylon core for durability. Unfortunately, they did not figure out how to make it soft. I thought I might get used to it, so I tried wearing it, but couldn't even make it 15 minutes. It's also somewhat tight at the shoulders for a raglan. I am usually between S and M (38/28/40, 5'9", 145 lbs), but the medium was right up in my armpits. A large would probably have worked better even if too big in the waist. Aside from the fabric, the seams are very high quality and the blue spruce color is lovely. The fabric is a dealbreaker, though. I'll be trying the Icebreaker 200 instead.

Awesome Base Layer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been my go to base layer since using it on my Appalachian Trail thru hike. I usually wear this and a shell to hike in during the fall and into winter-- perfect combo for not getting too hot and staying warm. Super soft and is true to size.

Fabulous!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love how thin it is, soft. A T that’s not a T. I usually wear silk turtleneck to keep my body warm or cool. This is just as good. And comfortably throw a sweater on

Love Merino Wool Baselayer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out of all the Merino wool base layers out there Smartwool's the most affordable without compromising quality. This top really keeps up for an entire year before signs of wear. Warm, moisture wicking.

Comfortable And Durable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have purchased numerous smart wool women's tops. Great for layering in cold weather and for those cool summer evenings. These smart wool tops are high quality. My favorite hiking top yet stylish to wear to work.

A Little Disappointed (Color)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two other SmartWool 150 base layer tops and was looking for another color. I was surprised that this one (Tea Rose) is see-through and won’t work for cycling without another top.

Nice, Light Base Layer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed a lighter base layer for running and hiking, and I wanted wool. This is a wool blend, and lighter than I expected, but comfortable and works well.

Great Base Layer!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this because I routinely travel and the temperature can vary up to 30 degress F from one location to another. It is perfect! I stay warm when I get to a colder destination. When I am back in a warmer climate, I do not sweat. It regulates body teperature perfectly. I liked it so much that I bought a second one in another color.

Multiple Purpose

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kept me warm hiking on the mountain in Montana. But I wasn’t sweaty when it warmed up and the sun was out In the valley. Wore it to dinner later b/c it wasn’t stinky. Thinking about getting one in black too
