About This Item

Pull on our Women's Smartloft 60 Skirt as an extra layer during a cold-weather run or to clean up for that after-ski beverage. Filled with our lightest-weight, 50% recycled wool insulation, this skirt is great over Smartwool® base layers. The sides and waistband are made with a stretchy knit fabric to help keep it from restricting movement, so you can stretch, climb, and run whenever you need to.

Fit and Design:

  • 60g proprietary 50% recycled wool insulation offers lightweight, packable warmth, breathability, and insulation even when wet
  • Wind-resistant nylon with DWR protects from the elements
  • Insulation is lined in Merino for comfort, sweat management, and odor control
  • Stretchy knit panels target Merino next to skin and polyester against the elements while allowing for ease of movement
  • Hidden pocket in waistband

Technology:

  • DWR finish (Durable Water Repellent) helps repel water from fabric surface.
  • Recycled Wool 50%: This product is made with repurposed, reclaimed recycled wool content as part of its construction. The percentage varies by garment.
  • SmartLoft 60: Our lightest weight of 50% recycled insulation is designed for high-intensity activities in more mild winter conditions. Helps provide thermoregulation and warmth even when wet.

Runs Small!

I am 5’3 116 lbs and wear a size XS in the current Smartwool Moto Sport tight, theIr fleece tight, and their wind fleece tight. I ordered this skirt in an XS also, however, this skirt runs small especially if you want to wear it with tights. I Sized up to a S and it fit perfectly in the hips, but slightly bigger in the waist. There is a drawstring so that helps!

Even Better Than The Smartloft 120 Skirt!

Fantastic skirt! Easy to move in. I ride my bike all winter in New England and this helps keeps me warm. Paired with good base layers- this skirt is a winner. Love the pockets too! Fits true to size. I'm 5.1, 90 lbs and the xs was perfect. In comparison to last year's Smartloft 120: the women's xs was too big so I had to go down to a girl's XL. The stretchy band at the top of the Smartloft 60 really helps .
