Hiking Or Inside?

These socks are wonderful. I haven’t been hiking yet, but have worn them in the house. We have tile floors, which I love, but they can get cold. These socks keep my feet toasty and are not slippery at all.

Very Disappointed In Quality Of

Very disappointed in quality of material used in making socks! Weave in sock foot is very loose and stitching looks like they are second quality. Have purchased Smartwool socks years ago and they still look better and much better made than the ones I just purchased!!! Thought Smartwool products were supposed to be much better than this. A lot of money for an inferior product. Would love to return but have already washed and worn.

Very comfortable, warm and great for camping or hiking especially in the chilly weather. They wash well and keep their shape and size after washing and drying.

I Have Bought Smartwool Socks Multiple Times.

Really LOVE Smartwool medium thickness and especially the thicker version. I wear them Monday through Friday with my steel toe work shoes and I wear my Smartwool socks with my hiking boots when I go Jeeping. I probably have about 20 pairs. I have three pairs that are high on my calves that I wear when I bundle up for the snow. So comfortable!

The Only Sock That I Would Buy For Mountaineering

Whether climbing the Adirondack High Peaks in winter, or McKinley in the summer, Smartwool's mountaineering socks are indispensable and indestructible. I have worn Smartwool socks for probably three decades and wouldn't trade them for any other sock product on the market.

Excellent Compression For A Fused Foot.

I have a fused foot so no compression from the knee down. These socks give that added cushion as if I was wearing a high end sneaker! Thank you.

Cozy & Toasty As Can Be

These are some of the most splendid socks I've had the pleasure of sliding on my perpetually frozen feet. I have Raynauds and live in Alaska where our winter regularly get to -40°, these socks with my sheepskin slippers and boots keep my toes so warm and toasty no matter how cold it is outside!

Great Socks But Sent A Defective Pair

CONS: I purchased 3 pairs 1 pair came defective and/or mismatched: one sock much shorter than the other.

Very Warm And Comfortable, Good As Slippers Too

I love these thick wool socks, I wear them around the house as slippers and also they fit just fine inside my shoes even though I bought the thickest pair. . Very warm and cozy, also attractive, seem to be sturdy and likely to last a long time. .

Great Socks

Purchased these socks for my husband. He wanted some warm, full cushioned, comfortable socks to wear for hiking. These are exactly that. They fit well, and are a great color. Highly recommend.
