Full disclosure: I was a huge Smartwool fan before I purchased this sweater. And I have to say that Men's Ripple Ridge Stripe Half Zip Sweater further solidified my faith in the brand. The fabric is supple and cozy, but extremely breathable. Just like other wool products, this one is extremely resistant to picking up odors. However, it is very easy to care for and shows no signs of shrinkage after going through delicate cycles in my washer and dryer. It fits my body quite well and has enough give to allow for plenty of free movement. The nice long zipper lets me release some heat quickly and easily when needed, making it a great option for skiing or winter hiking. On top of that, it looks great and I get compliments on it a lot.
