I purchased this a week ago and it's perfect for the NE winters. Super warm, covers my neck, can even pull it up over my ears a bit to get them out of the cold as well.

Super happy with this, 10/10 recommend. It is great for following mask mandates and cold days as it keeps everything nice and toasty. Flip side is I wouldn’t recommend for warm days, it can get a little too hot.

I bought this a month ago and used it during a bike ride in cold weather. The neck gaiter kept me quite warm and blocked wind, it doesn’t wick away sweat very quickly though... so wash it after use. It fits a bit loose and I need to constantly readjust on my face, so keep in mind if you have a smaller face like me.

Moderately thick merino wool-based product, ample sizing but not loose. Like all things Smartwool this is nice. Have not used it as yet but expect it will be quite warm, maybe too warm for mild days. It looks like it will fit over a helmet but have not tried.

This is a great addition to my anti-COVID ski wardrobe. I don't like wearing gaiters but this season it's required to wear a face covering. This is the most comfortable gaiter i could find and i love it.

Bought this a month ago for my classes. I have stayed nice and warm with it while still being able to breathe. Definitely kept the wind burn on my face to a minimum as well.

I go through two of these a year because I manage to lose them. I wear it every day in winter to keep the cold from getting through the collar of me down jacket. I love this item.

I use this for walks outside in SE Idaho winters. Works well. I wouldn't mind if the merino wool were a bit thicker and softer, but it does the job.

This is incredibly soft. I'm converted now to this style of neck warming in lieu of a scarf. It is very practical, warm, and fits nicely under my coat. I spoke too highly of it, because my wife has confiscated it and is now using it. So I'm back to get another one for myself.

I bought this online a month ago because it looked like a nice, warm gaiter with no seams. But I’m a relatively small woman (or at least my neck is small). It just hung off my neck. I measured the gaiter and it’s 8 inches wide, so 16 inch circumference. I measured my neck and it has a circumference if 12 inches. No wonder it wouldn’t stay up. I looked at the kids sizes to exchange it. The large kid’s size is the same as the adults’s; the smaller is about 7 inches wide, and would probably be the perfect size. But both kids sizes are single layer, so less warm (because kids don’t need to be warm?), and b/c not double-layered, there are seams (because kids never find seams itchy?). O/S for adults makes no sense. A 6 ft muscle-y guy and a 5’6 thin women don’t have similar neck sizes. Had to return the item, even though it would have been perfect if it had fit. Would recommend the full-featured adult version to someone it would fit.

Smart wool makes more than the best socks... their neck warmers are the bees knees. Lightweight and warm- I wear it every time I ski.

I wanted to like this more, but too small for this 6'2" hombre. Also, couldn't give it to my girls as they're very wool sensitive.
