These are not my dad's wool socks he wore everyday as a carpenter! His were ugly grey with a red stripe, these are shades of beautiful colors. His were very thick and heavy, these are very light and comfortable. These socks are very soft and plushy and have a thicker sole that fits my foot and boot. My feet don't sweat and it's like wearing another insole. They fit into my Irish Setters like a glove! Great sock for a great price!
