My husband loves Smartwool base layer shirts. This is the second one I purchased. Highly recommend.

The Smartwool tee shirts (short sleeve/ long sleeve) are the best. Ever since my 24 year old son told me the Smartwool merino shirts were his favorite, I’ve been buying them for him for special occasions. He’s always super appreciative because he knows I’ve given him something of great quality and even though the shirts cost more than the average shirt, the investment is worth it. I feel happy giving him something he truly wants.

Super comfortable highly versatile shirt I never travel without. When traveling for days at a time with no laundry this shirt is an absolute must

Great all around outdoor shirt. Great in a variety of temperatures and has been used a base layer or my only layer.

Light weight and comfortable. Perfect as base layer for golf in coastal Pacific Northwest.

Fantastic light weight long sleeve Tee for hiking. I already have two and will purchase a third!

Love this shirt! I hate wearing synthetic material and this feels great and does a GREAT job as a base layer Also looks decent just to wear around

Perfect base layer for Spring in the mountains. Not too light, not too heavy, just right.

Super comfortable first wear while on a 2 day backpacking trip. It made a great base layer and then when temps when up it was nice on its own. And a layer of sun protection with long sleeves! Odor control was evident, but control being the key word--definitely not absent. I recommend this shirt and look forward to using again on the next hike and for my trip to the Tetons next month (as well as trying as a base layer for snow skiing!).

Like most Smartwool products I have purchased, this one is a nice weight, completely soft and comfortable AND attractive. I get compliments on it all the time.

Most of you have seen the reviews on other websites. Let's be honest. You're here to see if someone is just making stuff up or over inflating things. Let me tell you, no they're not. Yes, the shirt is that good. Can you find better? Sure I guess, there's always the next thing, but this is tried and true and incredibly comfortable. I don't get a lot of comments on my look and I had several people tell me that this was a nice looking shirt. It's my flexible 3+ season base layer and it still looks trendy. Just buy the darn thing. You'll be warm and look cool, and also not be sweating. It's like magic.

Nice light base layer than I can wear without overheating and wicks sweat when I start working one up.

I wear my merino shirts from September to May. I love the various patterns and the stylish comfort, whether in the garden or on the slopes.

Perfect for winter sleeping; light but warm. Same qualities as single layer for moderate weather outdoor activities. Finally, excellent next to skin layer in cold weather. I really like what I refer to as the 'baseball shirt' color patterns: dark sleeves with different torso color.
