Friend Put Me On, Now I Have To Share The Wealth!

bought these after seeing a friend wearing them during the summer - i love that you can wear wool socks multiple times before washing, i love the fit (snug, supportive, firm) as far as i can tell now. i do notice some pilling but nothing that can't be shaved. as someone who had been holding onto a lot of old cotton-blend socks that would constantly scrunch up and move around and always felt "loose", this feels like such a premium upgrade. i am a size 4. 5 women's in shoes so i was also really happy to find these fit so well! i will definitely be purchasing more. these can work for summer easily but i might get some socks with 0 padding for a lighter option.

Better Than Other Smartwool Socks

Finally, a Smart Wool sock that doesn't kill my ankles from tightness. So I may order more. cushioning is comfortable. Smart Wool used to make a blue heathered rib sock I liked, but discontinued. I have others of theirs,I'm going to give away. Not sure they actually read or care what their customers says.

Solved My Athletes Foot!!

Unfortunately my vast sock collection of all shapes, sizes, and brands in now worthless after Smartwool came into my life. I was recommended a wool blend sock to combat sweat, odor, and athletes foot and mission accomplished. Within 2 weeks of wearing these socks with work boots and golf shoes my feet have almost completely recovered from my athletes foot. I will be recommending these socks to everyone in my life. I only wish my podiatrist could write a prescription for me to use with insurance :)

Classic Look

I bought the cream and maroon colored ones and I love how classic they look while giving me the protection I need from ticks. While they aren't 100% merino wool, I think they are great 3 season socks for everyday use.

Perfect Socks

These socks are kind of perfect: weight, comfort . . . everything. I started with one pair of each color and am now ordering three more pairs of each.

Basic, Well Made Crew Socks

These seem like very basic but well made crew socks -- I liked that they're on trend and typical for Smartwool they seem very well made and warm. They're such basic socks that I found the price too high for what they are, so I returned them. I'd definitely consider buying a few pairs of these basic crew socks if they go on sale -- they're fun and on-trend, with the bonus warmth of the brand.
