Just What I Needed

I bought these wading boots as a replacement. I am not disappointed. The fit is nice. The construction is solid.

Excellent Boot Until You Need Studs

These are very comfortable wading boots. Feel great...look great. The only problem is that they don't hold studs for very long. I started a long day with fully studded outsoles (~15/boot) and ended the day with 4 total studs. Managed a good day of fishing but had to rely on my wading staff to get around the water (Penns Creek). If you're fishing in slippery conditions, I would look at one of the other Simms options. Pricier for sure but well worth the sure-footing.

Not Good

Not happy, i tried to return but was not allowed. Does not seem ethical.

Haven’t had them in water yet but put them on with my Simms waders & was very satisfied with fit. Can’t wait to hit the stream!!

Good, durable, great traction. Have used in rivers for restoration work, fish population and habitat monitoring, and for fly fishing for years. Not too stiff or bulky.

Just What I Needed

So far these wading boots are just what I wanted . Using them currently in the rivers chasing winter holdover striped bass , come spring I'll transition to the coast and install the screw-in studs . The build quality is outstanding and at a good price compared to the other brand that has the removable soles that didn't last an entire season and were 3X the price.

Purchased these as a second pair to use without studs, primarily for in boat float fishing. I have not used the boots to date.

It seems like a good product for the price. I plan to use as a salt water boot. Will give an update once I have been out!

Little Dirt On My Boot.

They don’t fit. Tried 2 different sizes. I wear a 9 shoe and bought a size 11 boot. Took the size 11 hunting with me. Tried one boot on and realized they still didn’t fit. Didn’t realize the one boot got a little dirt on the sole. Simms rejected my return request.

First Wading Boots

These are my first pair of wading boots so I wasn't sure what to expect. I took them out for a spin last weekend. Unfortunately did not know that neoprene waders were not allowed in this stream until I showed up in them, so I waded just in the boots with my cotton socks. 4 hours in a 50f stream and my toes were in better shape than my fingers so they get plus points for that. I've removed a star for their weight - easily the heaviest boots I've ever worn. I'm not sure if that's a thing with wading boots, but they did feel cumbersome.

Comfortable boot. These boots will suit my needs perfectly for use in the drift boat and also for walking local saltwater beaches in search of sea run cutthroat trout and salmon in the fall.

Should Be A Durable Boot, But Mine Wasn't

I received a pair of Tributary Wading Boots on 11/29/22, and I'm writing this review on 1/6/23. I used these boots about 7 times in December for waterfowl hunting. I was hunting in agricultural fields. In late December, I noticed three separate cuts on the soles of the boots (pics attached). I must have stepped on something sharp, as they're pretty clean slices. I have no idea what I stepped on. I was walking across gravel roads, grassy fields, and muddy ponds. There was no razor wire on this property, but I must have stepped on something sharp on the ground. Anyway, I would have expected these soles to hold up even if I stepped on something sharp. I wasn't exerting much force or torque when walking around - just one foot in front of the other, no running or dynamic movements. Apart from a not-so-durable sole, I think that these boots are a good value for the price. I can still use the boots, but I'm worried about further deterioration of the soles
