Comfortable and I like that they fit - I didn't have to order a size or two up to fit waders.

Heavy Boots

Doable boots and excellent quality but its heavy to walk, would be amazing if it comes lighter more

Heavy Duty And Great Quality

After reading all the reviews, I ordered them one full size larger than I normally would've. They are very comfortable with stockingfoot waders and thick wool socks on. Hiking any distance might be a bit much as they're pretty heavy and not super flexible, but they should work great in the streams and rivers where I fish.

Going Downhill

I've got a growing son, so we've been buying these boots a bit over the years. This latest version is a huge step back from the last version (black and red ones). They feel less supportive and less well built. I just feels like the boots were de-engineered to maximize profit rather than angler utility.

Solid Boot And Great Value

I have the G3 with rubber sole and alumabite studs as well as a pair of Felt Freestones. These are lighter than both and have plenty of support for me. Great for walking in a mile or two and the soles have excellent grip on slick rocks in freestone streams. I have only used them for 5 days on the river so I can't evaluate how long they will last but they seem to be very well made. If you value a light weight boot over a heavy duty boot then I would recommend these. Very good product and an excellent value. I wear a 10 normally and that size felt tight to me. I sized up to the 11.

Great Boots At An Excellent Value

i have a pair of these, the G3 in rubber and alumabite, and also the Freestones. I’ve only used them 4 -5 days so far but they are lighter than the others and not as stiff. Better for walking and of course the felt bottoms a the best on slick freestone streams. Great value product by Simms. I hope they hold up but so far they seem to be well built. I wear a 10 normally and that size felt tight to me so I got the 11.

Kids Boots Worth The Money!

Excellent boots for my 8 y/o boy we fish often, and he loves how comfortable his new boots are!

Fabulous Fisherman Fun

Kept my son’s feet dry and fit true to size. He was satisfied with them when using them to fish with his father for hours.

As Advertised…

As advertised, simply performed as designed, easy navigating rocky streams.

I'm sure he'd love them, but he never got the boots.

Miserable! You Should Stop Selling These.

No padding, no support. Go stand on a concrete driveway flat footed for 8 hours and you’ll know what it’s like to wear these all day. Simms is trading on a reputation its products no longer uphold. Shame on you.
