Simms Flyweight Wading Boot

I took these boots fly fishing in Alaska for Coho salmon. Best boots I have ever owned. They were super comfortable for long hikes and long days on the water and looked great as well!!

Lightweight But Stable

Very comfortable to wear all day whether walking and wading or getting in an out of a drift boat.

Winter Option

I bought these one size larger than normal to accommodate my heated winter socks. Put everything on and looks like it is going to work like a charm. Will let you know in December.

Flyweight Boots With Vibram Soles

I wore these boots every day for a week of fishing at the Rainbow River Lodge in Alaska. They were incredibly comfortable in the boat, wading and walking around. The traction was exceptional and they dried quickly. NO doubt they contributed to the exceptional fishing I had :) thanks for a superlative product! Dr Trout

After 2 Weeks In Glacier And Yellowstone Parks

I bought a pair for my son and I to hike into the backcountry and fly fish. These are both a good hiking and wading boot.

Simms Flyweight Boot Sz10

Paired this boot with the Korker’s neoprene socks sz M. Recently did 5 days in the Sierras hiking and fly fishing to test these out. Freestone water and lots of big smooth boulders. Spent a lot of time in the water and hiking, and have to say these are incredible boots. We’ll see how long they hold up, but they grip fantastic on dry boulders, slip around a bit on wet slimy bottom rock as one would expect are super lightweight, drain very well and are super comfortable. Wanted to keep wearing them around camp after fishing. They also dry out fairly quickly. Pretty impressed so far.

Great Boots

I bought these to save some space and weight while traveling. They have since became my primary wading boots. They are comfortable and are noticeably lighter than most other wading boots. They fit just a little larger than size which made them perfect for stocking foot waders and my wet wading neos.

Solid Boots!

Confortable and solid boot for professional use. A guide choice for sure.

Decent Boots, Hard To Put On

They’re lightweight decent boots but the previous models had 2 hooks for the top 2 lace eyelets making that version easier to put on, these don’t open as wide so a bit difficult to put em on

Boots Appear To Be As Advertised

Lightweight and well designed. Haven’t used them in the streams yet as I’m waiting for the cleats that are back ordered. Tried them on and walked around the house and they are comfortable, time will tell….

Super Light And Comfortable

Perfect for summer fishing, will also work great for wet wading

Best Wading Boots I Have Ever Owned

Best wading boots I have ever owned. Near perfect combination of light weight, traction and durability. I have used them for nearly a year now … regularly fishing the rivers throughout the Texas Hill Country. I can easily traverse a variety of river bottom types … gravel/grit, rolling rock, boulders n even silty. Also great for hiking along river bank to portage around unsafe river spots.

Great Boots!

I got these when they switched to this style and they have been great. Very lightweight and have held up well for over a year. I try to fish two to three days a week.

Great Boots

The boots are light weight and fit great. Hopefully they’ll hold up as well as all my other Simms products.

Tough, Lightweight Quality Wading Boot

I purchased these boots for a week long expedition fly fishing N. Patagonia in Argentina. Felt is not allowed in Argentina. They are comfortable, true to fit with a durable upper and sole. I was able to navigate both rough terrain and aquatic environments with relative ease. Very light weight boot. Great ankle support. Not as good a wet traction as felt but to be expected.
