Good Shoes, Dunno Bout Longevity

Great shoes for wading, solid grip on rocks. Drains well. Unfortunately the sewn on loop for the guide socks to clip on to tore off the left shoe. It’s not a big deal to me, because the waders I use with the shoes doesn’t have that clip. But it does make me wonder about the long term quality.

Access Wading Boot

They need a built in cling system. Sims aftermarket cleats don’t stay in. I even watched tutorial. 50% of them fell out within 5 trips. Otherwise there are comfortable and light weight. I just wouldn’t recommend in rivers with smooth rocks and stronger currents.

Great Wading Boots, Hiked Into

Great wading boots, hiked into a backcountry lake and no problems

We'll See

I'll let you know how the boot performs after a year or two. Thanks.

Access Boot

After wearing the G3 Guide Boot, as far as I’m concerned, these are a definite improvement. Great ankle support and very lite weight. Prefect for a side hill slide or hike to the river.

Lightweight Comfort

I purchased these boots for clients. Just had a guy out on a local tailwater and he loved the boot. Comfortable and light weight. He was impressed. Paired with the simm wading pants.

Men’s Access Wading Boot

These are the most comfortable boots I nave owned yet. Light weight love them!

Great Wading Boot!

A great boot for all my wade fishing. I guide on the Bighorn 125 days a year with this boot and the fit is great along with the durability and support.

Men's Access Wading Boot

I was looking for a light and durable wading boot that could withstand a lot of wading in the coral reefs of the French Polynesian Islands. Not only did it hold up with no wear and tear but the comfort was notable especially after wading all day. I am presently wearing them on my guided trips in the harsh saltwater of the Texas Coast and they continue to hold up well. The lightness of the boot continues to be my favorite feature. Another great feature about these boots is that they drain well and is made of quality materials.

Comfort Level 100!

Seemingling overnight this became my go-to boot to pair with my waders this spring after the launch. Insanely light weight and beyond comfortable. They feel like a hiking book I've beat up for years straight out of the box. The new vibration technology is the real deal. Grippy, sticky, whatever you want to call it, it works!

Access Wading Boot Is Amazing

I've been wearing the Men's Simms Access Wading Boot for nearly three months and have logged hungreds of miles and thousands of steps in them. I typically walk 6-8 miles a day while guiding and these shoes are perfect for what I do. They are light weight, durable, and well designed. They have been tested hard in Cheesman Canyon and the results have exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend the Men's Access Wading Boot!

Nice Boots!

I have about 14 days so far this season (2026) on the Access Wading boot. They are super comfortable right out of the box and pretty darn grippy for rubber sole boots.

Simms Best Boot Yet.

I have worn Simms boots the last 18 years from freestones to g4s. The access is by far the best wading boot they have ever made. From comfort, design, and durability the access is more than a wading boot. It’s a a vehicle to transport anglers off the beaten path. Ankle support, comfort, and grip, this boot has it all.

Excellent Wading Boots

Only used twice so far but these boots are lightweight and comfortable while providing stability and protection. Appear well constructed.

Best Wading Boots Ever

I love these boots and they have replaced all of my old ones. Light, comfortable like a sneaker and excellent ankle support. I studded mine and they are, without question, the grippiest boot I have yet to wear and as an almost 58 wading angler in mountain streams and slimy tailwaters (with vertigo) they are now the best thing I own for fly fishing.
