Leaking

They started leaking after less than a year. Both knees started leaking. I expected better quality from Simms. They are comfortable, look nice, but whatever. They leak after less than a year.

They Are Easy On And Off, The Zipper Is Convenient, Construction Feels Sturdy, Very Comfortable.

I bought these waders as an upgrade from other brands and they perform beautifully.

Great Gear

Waders fit just right and are doing the job to keep me dry. The boots have a great dexterity and grip for confident movement through the water. I added some studs which have added to the grip on the slippery surfaces.

Good Wader But Cold.

The only reason I gave them a 4 is they are cold. I recently used these waders on a brown bear hunt from a boat in Alaska. The temps were in the high 30's to low 40's. Even though I wore double layers of long underwear I got cold. When they get wet the cold seeps through with ease. I should have worn my heavy wool long underwear and doubled up on that. Other than that they are a great buy. The zipper makes for somewhat easy access when us old guys gotta pee.

Great Waders.

These are some very nice waders. I have only used them once but they were flawless. I. was concerned that zipper might leak, or be difficult to zip. Neither was the case. Fine product. Only concern now is durability. I expect they will last judging by the quality of materials and construction.

Great value. A little more moisture retention than the gore tex. Great back up wader.

So Far So Good

Very well-made and definitely easy to move in. I’ve only had these for a couple of trips, but really like them so far.

High End Waders Without The High End Price

My Freestone Z waders fit perfectly, and are Incredibly durable. I have worn them on two trips through the Alaskan wilderness, including dense brush. There is no sign of a nick and not a hint of leaking. The zipper remains watertight, even in deeper streams. These are priced well below the most expensive models and I have convinced several friends to try these. There is virtually nothing that I don’t like about these waders.
