Wading Boots

Great fit and very comfortable out on the river. I do lots of hiking along the rivers of NorCal and these are some of the most comfortable wading boots I’ve ever worn

Extremely Slippery Boot - Be Careful

Made 2 trips in these boots. They are like walking on marbles when you get them wet. We do a lot of rock-to-rock jumping in pocket water streams/rivers where it's too fast/deep to wade. They were comfy enough but so slick they are dangerous. I will buy studs to see if that helps. I will not wear them again without studs. Very disappointed and have been a lifelong Simms gear guy. Neer had this issue with the vibram soles or felt.

Grizzly/wolf Hunt

These waders and boots were used in and out of the water, including some fairly extreme mountain hiking. Crawling on the ground and riverbank shingle while stalking bears. The zipper is great for not only relieving yourself, but for cooling off a bit on the long hikes! They performed flawlessly an seemed rugged and well-built despite them being lightweight and maneuverable

Freestone Boots

I tried them without the carbide star cleats first to test the non slip rubber sole . They did slide around the rocks and gravel a bit . I put the cleats on it was nite and day . I dont slip at all ,i love the boots they have great foot support . My back would get sore fairly quick with my old ones . Now i. Comfortable for hours on end . Definitly would recommend them .

Simms Wading Boots

I’ve owned Simms waders and boots for over 30 years and wouldn’t wear any other brand!

Great Boot!

Great boot. Bought them to fish the flats and bays of Rockport and Corpus Christi Texas area. Bought the neoprene socks as well. Perfect fit. True to size. Solid construction and protection while wading oyster shell bottom.

Wading Boot

Bought these for my husband, and he loves how comfortable they are!

Freestone Rubber Wading Boot

Great boot. Lightweight with excellent tread for keeping footing in swift water.

Brown Bear

Hunting brown bear on the Alaska peninsula these waders are a must have.

Fishing Boot

Very sturdy boot! Fits great and is perfect for walking in rivers.

Workhorse

Great boot. Protects your feet very well in an oyster-rich environment here on the Texas coast. Buy one size up if you plan to wear waders with them!

Very Comfortable

I finally got to use my new boots today and have to say they are very comfortable. My only complaint is that all I read was how “grippy” they are. I do not believe they are very grippy. Will definitely have to add studs to them and feel like they should have come with them. I knew they were not going to be as good as felt but thought they would be close. They are not. Still have to say they are very comfortable.

Boot Built To Keep Up

I have been wearing Simms boot for about 10 years. I have hike through two other pairs in that time. I'm very excited for these new boots as they seem to be built better with a substantially strong toe box and sole. Excited to put these to work this summer.

Love These Boots!

These boots are very well made and extremely durable. I mostly fly fish the Driftless region in Wisconsin. You have a mix of hiking, mud bottoms to creeks, & rock bottoms to creek. I had excellent footing in all conditions and they were extremely comfortable to wear all day (8hrs). My only regret is that I didn’t buy them sooner!

Good Buy

Hard to find size 15 boot. these fit great, lots of room around the toes Good traction on the river bottom
