Picked this up after my 35 year old Patagonia vest got used for mouse bedding. I needed a vest that I could wade deep rivers in, for the Michigan night fishing. It worked well, significantly better than a waste pack, though it was warmer. And, crucially, it doesn’t have a convenient spot to carry and access canned beverages. Other than that it was voluminous and comfortable, well thought out pockets and spots to attach all the stuff you need. I’d recommend it

Short
Vest is short, hard to unzip the upper et hand pocket, few loops to attach tools or a tippet holder. Love the look, material, and construction. The fly patch is v nice

Nailed It
A few months back I shattered my shoulder on a bike ride post recovery I struggle to get a pack on and off decided to try a vest wow it’s a whole new world I’ll never do a pack again unless it’s a chest. This vest is versatile, light and, dope. Plenty of organization and so forth. The net and rod holders keep everything in control and I am honestly able to tie in tippet or new flys faster. the vest set up brought way more zen and enjoyment to the river.
