Maybe A Bad Batch But

Maybe a bad batch but the soles delaminated. You will be getting these back

Buckling System Poor

I’m a Simms guy but these things are a disappointment. Knew I was going to trade the low quarter bootie out with a high top to repel beach sand, but the buckling system is ridiculous … cumbersome and impossible to cinch down. I can see where fly line would hang up as well. Still looking for a good beach wader that keeps sand out. Don’t bother with the Orvis Christmas Island bootie either. Kept sand out but very uncomfortable.

Super Comfy.

They are comfortable and the stay put on your feet.

Drifter At

Feels good to wear. Wish you could tighten/loosen a little easier but overall it’s well made and keeps my feet warmer for wet wading colorado

Love Them

Bought them for the Kayak as well as small stream wading in a pinch. . .

Drifter Boot Problem

I actually broke right shoe heel putting it on for the first time. The size is right but I would like to return for an upgraded product. I know your brand well and you have sold me a lot of gear over the years. I'm a retired fly fishing guide from out west. I like the pursuit shoe and the flats boots. Let me know how to proceed. I would like to exchange and upgrade

These Are Really Good

So I really want to love these and give them 5 stars. My problem is that hole the concept is spot on the gravel/sand picked up makes this just good. I will try it with wading booties but the booties they come with. Just good for the boats. Not walking in rivers or beach.

Very Comfortable

Bought these a a little over a month ago and finally used them. Gotta be some of the most comfortable water shoes I’ve ever had. Great traction, good look and design…and most of all…very comfortable. True to size. Bought a pair for my son as well and he very much agrees.

Drifter Awesome At

Awesome show! Have yet to wear it on a wade trip. Bought for Philmont stream crossings and camp shoes! Seems stronger and would protect your feet better than flimsy Crocs.

X

Good grip, quality seem to be built well! This will be a boat shoe for me. But to soon see how they fair out in the Saltwater environment.

Great Product

I used these for the first time yesterday, and they were outstanding. I spent seven hours wet-wading in Western North Carolina, and they felt more like a pair of slippers than wading shoes. I paired them with SIMMS quick-dry pants, and the combination worked great. My only quibble is the strap adjustment system. You can’t really fine-tune the straps while they’re on your feet. I had to put them on, take them off, wrestle with the straps, and repeat the process a few times before I got the heel locked in without slipping. Once dialed in, though, they were excellent — easy to slip on and off, and I never had to adjust them again.

Tight Fit

I was excited to receive these shoes. They seem perfect for my needs. I could not put them on. They were too tight even with bare feet. I am a pretty standard size 11 but these were not wearable. I gave them to a fishing buddy who has size 10. 5. They seem to fit him. I have ordered a size 12 (since the don’t come in half sizes ) Hope that works.

Cool Crock Like

Love em when I’m oaring my boat. Great for when I have to get in the water and out which I do a lot. My feet are in the water most of the time. One thing to note which as been my experience, is they are hard to get off. But that also a plus feel like a glove.

Good Grip

I recommend these to anyone that spends days in the water. I have been really impressed with the grip these shoes have on different surfaces. Several times portaging dams I have been ready to slide or slip and these shoes have held tight and haven't slipped yet since wearing them.

Solid Wet Wading Option

Great shoes for wet wading and I see the vision for their intention. Only issues were the arch support accommodate a flatter foot while I have a higher arch, and the tightening strap seemed to not be as easy to use as I would have liked, but overall they were great for in and out of the driftboat.
