Poor Poor Quality
Wore shoes 1 time and they soles started to delaminate from the shoe itself , have to jump through a lot of hoops to initiate a return , simplest solution is to be done with Simms and stay with orvis as they are super simple to deal with

Time Will Tell
The Shoe won’t be put to the test until September, when I spend a couple of weeks fishing in Montana and BC. However, it has already missed one important milestone…I could not get them on my feet because the opening in the neoprene booties was too small. I was able to remove the booties from the shoe, but using them will require the purchase of some waterproof socks…not a deal breaker, but a pain nonetheless.

Buy The Pursuit Instead
I bought these because I wanted another pair of dedicated wading shoes and I wish I had just bought another pair of pursuit shoe. I wear a size 12 and I bought a size 12 in them. They are really hard to get on and even harder to get off when wet. I took them to the beach and got so much sand in them, not even funny.

Buckling System Poor
I’m a Simms guy but these things are a disappointment. Knew I was going to trade the low quarter bootie out with a high top to repel beach sand, but the buckling system is ridiculous … cumbersome and impossible to cinch down. I can see where fly line would hang up as well. Still looking for a good beach wader that keeps sand out. Don’t bother with the Orvis Christmas Island bootie either. Kept sand out but very uncomfortable.

Drifter At
Feels good to wear. Wish you could tighten/loosen a little easier but overall it’s well made and keeps my feet warmer for wet wading colorado

Drifter Boot Problem
I actually broke right shoe heel putting it on for the first time. The size is right but I would like to return for an upgraded product. I know your brand well and you have sold me a lot of gear over the years. I'm a retired fly fishing guide from out west. I like the pursuit shoe and the flats boots. Let me know how to proceed. I would like to exchange and upgrade

These Are Really Good
So I really want to love these and give them 5 stars. My problem is that hole the concept is spot on the gravel/sand picked up makes this just good. I will try it with wading booties but the booties they come with. Just good for the boats. Not walking in rivers or beach.

Very Comfortable
Bought these a a little over a month ago and finally used them. Gotta be some of the most comfortable water shoes I’ve ever had. Great traction, good look and design…and most of all…very comfortable. True to size. Bought a pair for my son as well and he very much agrees.

Drifter Awesome At
Awesome show! Have yet to wear it on a wade trip. Bought for Philmont stream crossings and camp shoes! Seems stronger and would protect your feet better than flimsy Crocs.

Good grip, quality seem to be built well! This will be a boat shoe for me. But to soon see how they fair out in the Saltwater environment.

Great Product
I used these for the first time yesterday, and they were outstanding. I spent seven hours wet-wading in Western North Carolina, and they felt more like a pair of slippers than wading shoes. I paired them with SIMMS quick-dry pants, and the combination worked great. My only quibble is the strap adjustment system. You can’t really fine-tune the straps while they’re on your feet. I had to put them on, take them off, wrestle with the straps, and repeat the process a few times before I got the heel locked in without slipping. Once dialed in, though, they were excellent — easy to slip on and off, and I never had to adjust them again.
