Simms For Life

I got this a little over a month ago I absolutely love it! I’m not into fly fishing as of now. I wade rivers with a bait caster in search of smallmouth bass. This sling does everything I need plenty of room for tackle!

He Loved It

Bought for my BF to replace the one he has been using for 20+years, was nervous as he is a creature of habit and doesn’t usually stray from what he knows but he absolutely loved it. Was true to size and fit all his supplies for fishing the local streams.

AndrewT

Nice size. Bigger than vests or chest pack, room for lunch and rain gear. Easily slides from in front of you to behind you so it never interferes with line or fishing.

KeithK

Great pack. Fits all my gear for a day fishing and leaves room for a end of day beer

Sling Pack

I was very impressed with the quality of the Sling Pack, plenty of room and accessing items right at your fingertips.

Where Do I Find The Velcro Accessory

Really awesome pack but where do I find the Velcro accessory

A Very Nice Pack With Some Caveats

Overall I like the roominess of the pack. There are a couple things that I think could be improved upon. First, there’s nothing in the literature about the style of net that will fit in the slingpack’s sheath. I have a Brodin Phantom but the handle is apparently too short. Looks like it was designed with some of the longer handled fishpond nomads in mind. So I can’t use that feature and the lack of D rings for attachments means I can’t fix it on there either unless I want to do some sewing. There really should be something about it in the info since that feature is specialized. Also, the stretchy net pockets inside are nice but I find, when I swing the pack up to the carry position, everything in them slides down and then out into the main compartment which is annoying. Other than that, it’s size and fit are right on
