I bought this a month ago and so glad I did. This is one smooth casting reel. Very light weight. Easily adjustable controls both internal and external.

Awesome Reel!

Second time I bought this-it’s a favorite and dropped first one in bottom of lake. Killed me to have to buy another, but like I said, it’s an awesome reel!

Pretty Average For A Almost $200 Reel...

TLDR, for me it sucks. Short casting, hard to adjust. Not worth the price. It casts smooth, very smooth. But its range is so short it's pathetic. I've got a $50 zebco that casts just as smooth and much further. This reel against my Daiwa... no contest at all. Second shimano I've gotten thats sub par. Won't buy another.

Needed Higher Line Capacity Reel

Plan to use this for all around including trolling, so I needed a reel with higher line capacity.

Best Reel For The Money Hands Down

This is the best reel I have ever owned. No need at all to upgrade to the digital control version. This reel cast a mile, super smooth, and it doesn’t backlash. Buying all new reels and rods to replace all my aging gear. Going with all 200Ks on Dobyns rods.

Best Reel I Have Used

I have 5 of these and am going to be getting more. This is the smoothest casting reel I have ever used in 30 years of bass fishing.

Normally an abu garcia guy but decided to give 200k a fair shake. Very impressed so far. Casts a mile and minimal backlashes with minimum adjustments to get dialed in.

Bought this Curado K as my first baitcasting reel. There was a learning curve for me with this reel but after setting it up properly I can say that it is a joy to fish with! Top notch quality and smooth as silk! It has helped me catch a lot of LMB and has performed perfectly.
