Shibumi With Wind Assist

Unfortunately for us, we were unable to use our shibumi. We had purchased it for the beach, however with the onshore winds and king tides, the beach was under water. Maybe next year

Compact And Light

I have purchased this Sun Shade for a future trip to Puerto Vallarta and apart from testing it in my backyard, I have yet to use it in a real situation by the beach.

A Sunshade Win

We've tried many different sun shades. Too many are heavy, bulky, tough tough to open and store. There has been pinched fingers, bumped heads, frustrated efforts and short term sun heat relief. Then came Shibumi! 3 minutes to set up. 3 minutes to fill sand bags. Hours of sun heat relief. I guess you could say how do you spell relief? S H I B U M I !!!!

Shady

Works well when wind moves in one direction. Sadly, wind moves in more than one direction oftentimes. In most cases, this shade is all over the place.

This is my second Shibumi shade that I have ordered and like them both.

Love It!

We love going to the beach and needed something lightweight and easy to set up that kept us protected from the sun. The shabumi ticks all of those boxes.

Our First Shibumi

Set up was easy, and packing it up was great too. Even in some rather stiff breezes, it wasn't very noisy. We're on the older side now, and we managed it with no problems. So much better than the traditional beach umbrella.

First Time At Beach

We took our new shade to the beach last week and loved it! So easy to put up and take down ! Provided shade all day ! So easy !!

Wind Or No Wind

We did not have any success with the tent. Didn’t work for us.

What A Find!

We love our Shibumi. It’s small and light but provides enough shade coverage for 4 adults, chairs, and coolers. The engineering is pure genius!

Easy Set Up For Senior Lady

As a female in her 70’s, I am very pleased that I can set up the larger Shibumi all by myself. And, I love the bright colors. The “no wind” extras/attachments are a little trickier to use.
