Finally, Some Shade On The Soccer Pitch!

I received my Park Vista Shibumi shade last week and had my first chance to use it at a tournament this past weekend. This shade works like a charm on the soccer pitch.I assembled it incorrectly, the first time, but was able to fix my mistake for the next game.We had a small breeze blowing, and some of the parents with umbrellas had a problem, but my Shibumi stayed planted, provided needed shade, and even directed some of that light wind toward my chair. I considered that a wonderful bonus.Shibumi should offer multiple color choices and market to the Youth Club Soccer community!

Love Both Of Mine !!!

I bought a full size and a mini. They work GREAT!!!love them both !!!

Great For Backyard Play

Easy to install, nice material, thoughtful design and storage bag! We get a good amount of shade for our water table and can play outside longer because of it.

Good Design And Materials But Ineffective

I thought this was going to be a game changer but unfortunately it just doesn’t work for me in Texas. For starters, the poles get so hot that they burn your hands. You cannot take this thing down without some sort of protection. Secondly, most of the ground is not soft enough to get it in around here. I’ve done the water tricks but still have to use a mallet and constantly have to reposition to find a spot without a hidden rock. Next, I find it useless between about 10 am - 2 pm when the sun is overhead. You have to bend it so far down you can’t see out of it. As the sun moves through the day, you have to keep moving it around. That being said, I think it would be fine for a one hour park picnic with soft grass on a mildly sunny day. The design is really good and I think the materials are top notch. It just doesn’t work for me here. I will stick with a popup canopy when I need serious shade. Overall, I wouldn’t buy again unless I had the one specific use case, which is why I suppose it’s called the park vista.

Extra Time In The Pool!

As a big fan of the beach Shibumi shade I knew I had to give this a go. I have spent years looking for a way to get some extra shade over our pool in the evenings when we actually have time to be in it. Pup approves! I write this review after 2.5 hours floating, reading and actually enjoying the pool in our Texas heat rather than having to wait until the sun is down and not getting such quality relaxing time... the only problem is I think I want another one!

Shade Anywhere

Put the Park Vista up in the middle of the lawn on a sunny day and watch what happens - it attracts adults with chairs and kids with toys. Goes up and comes down easily, even when you have a two-year-old child "helping."It would be perfect if the clear plastic point covers (protective caps) had a tiny storage pocket inside the bag.

Shibumi Shade

This is great for the no wind days. Love all my purchases from this company. Very quick to respond to any issue that arises.

Park Vista

The shade is so easy to carry to events or gatherings. It’s also so simple to assemble and it provides the much needed shade on those hot summer days. Worth every penny.

Easy Install And Soooo Needed For Grankids

I bought 2 of these shade tents and they were used every moment by my 6 week + 1 year old + 3 year old and 4 year old grankids!!! Then a terrible storm (hail and 80 mph wind) came through on 4th of July - in Litchfield County and we ran outside to gather all and these tents were so easy to grab and bring into garage!!

What A Pain

Kind of surprised considering how easy it is to set up the Shibumi shade, but that’s just a sheet on a fiberglass pole. This was immediately more complex with garbage directions. These poles are super tall and I’m supposed to start hooking stuff to the top and hammering anchors? 1-person, two minutes my behind. Overpriced nonsense. Would send it back but I bought it a while ago and never opened it.

A Few Improvements Needed

This is my 2nd shibumi, my 1st one is for the beach. The cross bar plastic latches needed to be opened a bit to fit the rod. Scary, I was worried I would break them or make them too largeThe step to place the stake moves, which means the string to make a roof is not secureIt would have been nice to have instructions to re-tie the rope on closing so I could do an easy pull the next time I use it. The should be a separate, seal-able bag for the stake caps so they do not get lost.Really easier for 2 to set up than oneWish you had a program for returning version 1 products once you upgrade.

Easy And Light Weight

I have not used it yet I took it out and put it up in my backyard and got it put together in 2 minutes and it look good.

Love My Park Vista Shade

After watching the set up video on YouTube it was fairly simple to get it set up. Depending on the time of day and sun position it can cast a very large shadow. Perfect for tight spaces. Break down is quick. We use it at the lake or in the back yard.Tip: Push the shade fabric all the way down before rolling up and don’t forget to remove the plastic caps off the stakes. Mine were buried after the first use 🤦🏾♀️

Easy To Transport And Set Up

Very lightweight and packable. This shade is great to create some shade anywhere.

Fantastic As A Pop Up Garden Shade!

When I saw the Park Vista shade, I knew it would work perfectly to shade my tall hydrangeas during the extreme 100° heat and drought we are having in parts of NC. It has made a huge difference and has kept my flowers from scorching, which was not needed in past, less intense years. It is easy to take down and then put back up as needed. The design is a more elegant garden solution for the front of our home in an HOA and the green/cream color go nicely with our house. We are big fans of the original beach Shibumi and now the Park Vista!
