[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the dry bag a lot the only thing that would make it better was if the bottom was heavier duty possibly even rigid but besides that it is exactly what I wanted minimal, good quality, simple. I use this bag for all my camping and hunting hunting trips in the winter either from canoe or Jon boat.

Great pack, as expected. Could definitely use a top loop on the backpack harness (like most backpacks) to make it easier to lift into place.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unlike 50L dry bag, this one does not keep my stuff dry in ocean even with maximum roll (4x) of the enclosure. I need a replacement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A friend and I both purchased the Big River Dry Bag Pack (75L) for out 7 day (60+ mile) Boundary Waters trip. Here is my assessment... 1. Bag had more than enough storage to handle all my equipment, food, etc for 7 days. 2. While frameless, the pack was comfortable albeit, we only wore it during portage ops. 3. The pack and shoulder straps were durable. I was mildly concerned about how the pack would hold up... constantly pulling it out of the canoe, dropping it on the ground, hitting up against sticks and branches while portaging, etc. The pack had no issues... I was impressed. 4. It was very windy and we routinely paddled into head / cross winds. The packs streamlined design allowed us to position them canoe width wise which greatly reduced wind drag. 5. No issues with seams or water leaking through. 6. I would strongly recommend for Sea to Summit design external gear storage bags. This would allow users quick access to snacks, jackets, maps, small binos (good to have to scout out camps from a distance so that you don'twaste time paddling), etc. Having to open my pack is a first world problem but it would be helpful. The external packs (varying sizes) could attach to the packs side gear loops. Overall, great product and would highly recommend it for similar type trips.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bag did exactly what it was supposed to do and kept all of my stuff perfectly dry during a really intense downpour.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Solid construction, just enough features to be functional and light weight. Wanted a visible color for an economical pack when canoe camping.

Used this pack on a waterfall hike/swim in Costa Rica. It performed as expected.

Loving the 30 L Big River Dry Backpack. Mostly canoe tripping. The adjustable options for the pack make for a comfortable experience especially while carrying a canoe on my shoulders. Will likely add some elastic cord to the outside for quick stashing of gear without having to open the pack. Thanks so much.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the backpack, we took it on a backcountry kayak expedition and liked the compact and light profile, as well as it's ability to keep things dry amidst the splashing waves.

Just got back from a trip to the Arctic Ocean via National Geographic Expedition Cruise where the only way to shore was zodiac on choppy ocean. I used the Big River Dry Pack to carry extra clothes and camera gear. It lived up to expectations to keep everything dry through the salt spray and occasional waves. Great bag!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We carry a Big Agness shelter on our river trips to be used in poor weather or in hot/overly sunny conditions. Its poles are longer than most 65-liter bags will hold, so this Big River Backpack was purchased to keep it dry in our canoe. Our maiden voyage with it involved a loop in the Okefenokee Swamp that started a multi-day paddle trip down the Suwannee River (Georgia & Florida). First, the closure is the best ever!!! In terms of its size, it fits perfectly on the floor of our canoe, behind the stern seat. For most trips we take, the backpack straps are unnecessary - maybe a Boundary Waters or Quetico trip is in our future and we can put them to work. I'm really happy I purchased it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wonderful big bag for trips. I keep a smaller day pack inside and use the 75l bag as suitcase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Performs exactly as I need it to. Great for the class I-II whitewater I've used it on, mostly day paddles. Thinking of really putting it to the test when I swim to an island for an overnight next week. Would buy again!
