Hi, I bought the Sea to Summit Field Repair Buckle Side Release [2 Pin] to repair the broken plastic buckle on my tactical fly fishing vest. I have two of these vests and both suffer from the same problem. That company is no longer making these vests, which are unusual and IMO have highly desirable features. Unfortunately, they have thick, one inch wide nylon straps instead of the typical widths. Finding a replacement for a one inch strap was a real challenge until I discovered these replacement buckles. Also, most buckles require cutting and resewing the thick strap on to the new buckle, something I was hesitant to attempt. Happily, these fit perfectly and saved me from tossing out an otherwise still useful fishing vest.

This product does exactly what it was made to do. Well made, good looking, and so easy to install, a blindfolded epileptic raccoon could do it. Well worth the price tag, strongly considering purchasing extras as backups.

One of the plastic buckles on my Black Diamond harness broke during a climb. I ordered a pair of these to try out and they got my harness back in shape. I ended up ordering two more to keep in my climbing bag just in case. They were very simple to install.

Sturdy design, worked exactly as needed. If you have any clips like this in strategic points on your gear, I suggest having the size you need in your spare parts kit. Could be the difference between a quick fix or a miserable situation
