Bought these for a daily shoe and lightweight after-work hiker. I sized up a half size from my normal 45 to a 45.5 due to color availability and they still fit really well; a tiny bit of extra room in the toe, but excellent fit in regard to the heel and width. This may detract a little from its climbing efficiency, but very comfortable and will probably still outperform a hiker-so I’d choose your size like a hiking boot, not a climbing shoe. Could be too hot for warm weather adventures due to the thick suede uppers. Laces are subpar, sneaker style, won’t last long I suspect. Seems perfect for daily use-looks professional enough for the casual office environment but can still get you up some easy 5th’s 👌

Just purchased my second pair of these shoes. I find them comfortable, long lasting, and receive many compliments on the styling. Highly recommended.

I just bought my second pair of these shoes because I loved the first pair so much. My first pair lasted me through five years of heavy use both in town and on the trail. They have journeyed through the Dolomites in Italy and Catskills of New York and everything in between. They are extremely grippy and capable in slippery terrain and the laces can be loosened around the forefoot making them comfy for those like me with extremely wide feet. Highly recommended!

I love these shoes. This is my second pair after I wore my first pair out over nearly 10 years of extensive use. They fit true to size, feel great, and don’t need any breaking in. I bought my first pair on a hiking trip in Iceland. I logged nearly 100 km in them in the first week with no pain or blisters. They are my go to for all but the most rugged of hiking. Light, solid, great traction, pack easily for air travel. Can’t say enough about them.

Been a great shoe so far, no issues. It’s comfortable and looks great. Hard to be at a Scarpa. I’ve got them dirty a few times and they’re easy to clean and look new afterwards. The only drawback is they aren’t as waterproof as other shoes in the same category. With the laces to the end, you do get some moisture coming through if you’re wearing them in the rain or snow/slush.

I bought these a little over a month ago and could not be more pleased. Super light weight with great support. This is my second pair and won't be my last - Scarpa always delivers high quality.

This is my third pair of Scarpa approach shoes. My husband turned me into them and I’ve never looked back. If you are looking for a shoe that you can walk & hike in (in any weather) these are perfect!! You can wear them for hours and your feet never hurt. Best ever!’

I have neuropathy in my feet and have been unable to find a pair of walking shoes that are comfortable for a days worth of walking until now. My wife had read about Scarpaand bought herself a pair for a trip to CA that has a lot of walking & hiking. I ordered myself a pair and took them to CA and am thoroughly impressed. My feet slightly hurt by the end of the day and I did not have to take multiple breaks. I would like a higher boot for hiking but these were great for trail walking. Great quality and workmanship. My wife is slightly bothered by the laces near her toes but my feet are fatter so I didn’t feel anything there.

I use this shoes everyday for work since more then 15 years. They are the only shoes I can wear for all day comfort. Best shoes ever! Buy every year a pair.

Took these handsome puppies out of the box, laced them up and went for a fall backpacking trip. My MO is to camp in one spot for a couple of nights and go for an adventurous scramble or two, returning to camp to eat, sleep, etc. So: Pros - they fit nicely (my feet do well with the Scarpa last, they are long and narrow); sticky soles; just stiff enough to be nice and agile. Cons: The rand at the toe is already starting to separate on one side - easy to repair so far, but makes me wonder how durable they will be; the lacing system is a little primitive and needs to be adjusted every time I put them on. Overall, nice shoes but they require a bit of attention and maintenance.

Bought this item a month ago and am super happy with comfort, quality and function. Waterproofing is a major bonus. I have used for bouldering, mtn biking, hiking and more, and so far these have not let me down.

Just received my new blue pair, still made well. Great fit, great sole. Get tons of comments everything I wear them. Have 2 light blues, love my black and now deep blue. Wear them to work, to play to hike, to bike.

I’m on my third pair of Mojitos and I’m already thinking about my fourth. Super comfortable yet rugged, and I love the style. Highly recommended for anyone who likes quality footwear.

Love the look on the style. The way they come laced from the factory they are a little tight for me around the toes. When I loosen the laces they fit just right. However that makes the lashes a little short. 75 inch laces would be better if you need the extra space around your toes.

Just learning about Scarpa shoe brand and really like the sleek look and design of the shoes. I have purchased 2 more pair since getting these.
