Fire Medic
I am a Wildland Firefighter EMT and I bought these for work. I have worn custom boots and these fit like they were made for me. Very supportive and comfortable for 16 hr. workdays in the mountains. They fit true to size and have room for the toes. I am happy with the purchase!

I've owned several pairs of Scarpa Fuego boots and highly recommend them. Even with daily use including irrigating and rough terrain, the rubber and leather always stay connected. These are excellent for hunting and daily wear.

I've worn scarpa fuegos for all of my five seasons in fire, including 4 hotshot seasons. As such, I can't compare them to any other boots, but clearly they work well for me. The durability is decent for this style of boot: one pair lasts me about two seasons. The biggest drawback and the only thing that really bothers me about them is that they are WARM. So warm that I use old worn out pairs for shoveling in the winter.

I purchased these boots for wildland fire, and so far the have performed well. They’re super comfortable and rigid. There’s a little break in period, but not to bad compared to some other boots. The rigid Vibram sole will protect you feet from rocky and rugged terrain. They are also a great option for mountaineering, hiking, or just working. If your buying them for wildland fire, you’ll have to replace the shoe strings. Overall, a great fire boot and great hiking/mountaineering boot. Definitely a great alternative to a high end boot like Nicks or Whites.

I bought these for Forestry field trips and cold season outdoor activities. The fit feels true to size. The toe box is wide and allows your toes to breathe. No cramping. However, the heel fits snug along with shank of foot. So you feel one with the shoe. I bought 1/2 size bigger to be safe and I put a thicker orthotic to compensate. Doing alot of off trail scrambling is where these boots particularly shine. My foot feel very secure and planted on steep wooded slopes as well as scree giving me greater confidence in the field. The only possible downside is these are heavy boots without tremendous flexibility. They will break in over time; however, as these are purpose-built for light mountaineering, they are the best pair of boots I've ever owned
