Comfortable Support For Long Hours

Awesome For Heavier Runners

As a tall, heavier runner (6’5 and 205lbs) I love the stability that this shoe offers. Pain that I used to get from running in other shoes has been resolved with the hurricane 25s. Highly recommend for heavier runners or those needed some stability.

Comfortable, But The Black Midsole Finish Peels Off

The shoes are very comfortable and supportive, but I am disappointed with the finish. With normal use, the black coating along the upper side of the midsole began rubbing off and peeling, exposing the white foam underneath. This is not dirt or normal outsole wear—the black outer finish itself is coming off. I bought the all-black colour specifically for work, so the white patches are very noticeable and make the shoes look much older than they are. For a shoe at this price, I expected the colour and finish to be much more durable.

Great Shoes For Over Pronation.

Bought these for my husband, who has moderate over pronation. These shoes have improved his alignment significantly. They have a larger platform than he is used to, but he soon adapted. Great cushioning ! He wants another pair.

Great Addition To My Shoe Rotation

I tried on the 24s, and I was very impressed. My shoe rotation at the time was full, however, so I waited until I cycled my distance shoes out. And here we are. Relevant things about me: 58 years old; male; 12 marathons so far; 40 miles per week training; 8:50/mile = comfortable pace. I bought my Hurricane 25's in mid-June, but they haven't seen much wear yet (15.9 miles total). My hip issues did nothing for my early June marathon time, and I've been recovering since. My 11-mile run (01:40:21) a few days ago was my longest since the 26.2, and I took the 25's out for a spin. The shoes performed very well. They gave me enough stability such that my healing hips were protected during the effort. Moreover, after 8 miles when I bumped up the pace a bit, I found a sweet spot around 8:15/mile where the mechanics just flowed. That was really nice! As above, I haven't run much in my 25's. While it's difficult to tell just how the rest of the short training season will go (early September marathon), early indications are that these shoes will be a valuable part of my training. They will make my long runs possible far into the fall, allowing me to go up to speed as needed. I am certainly glad I purchased them, and I would highly recommend them to others.
