Great Shoe In Extra Wide, Need More Color Options

Purchased guide 19 11.5 extra wide. Like the toe box shape, feels good underfoot, supportive, soft but not too squishy. Really wish Saucony would add more color schemes to their Guide 19 extra wide, I bought black/silver and the only other option is a funky light grayish color with odd blue laces (Just not me) Really like the black/fatigue color scheme or the black/black, or navy/grey.

Comfortable shoes but they don't last very long. I buy two pairs at a time and switch them out every day. My current shoes are 24 days of use and they are already getting worn down. I WALK 5-7 miles a day. They shouldn't be this worn down.

Guide 19 Bad Purchase Decision.

Totally not satisfied with the Guide 19 extra wide shoes. They are over flexible and hurt my feet. I will have to keep to my other brands.

Not Running Shoes Anymore

I have run in every generation of Guides for a decade and the 19 is by far the worst. It feels like they steal my energy when I run. At first, I thought I was overtrained because every step started to feel like extra effort, then one morning I ran in my old 18s and it was like night and day. I switched over to the Hurricane 26 which I have enjoyed, but when you change purpose of a models (Guide 19s are not for running anymore) you should communicate it clearly. I went as far as buying a second pair of 19s because I thought maybe the foam was defective in the first pair.

This is the first time I bought wide over regular size and it’s the first time I don’t have blisters and callouses on side of my big toes. I do not have wide feet but the wide shoe size really allows to spread your toes out in the roomier toe box. The shoe provides great support and cushioning.
