Super Comfortable Shoes!

Lived them from day 1. Have had several pairs of that same exact one. Wish the X Ultra 5 also came in a black colour. As they were the perfect shoes and colour for all types of activities, even some work events!

X Ultra 4 Wide Gore-tex

Doskonałe, bardzo wygodne, świetna przyczepność - niestety zdecydowanie gorsze od poprzednich modeli. Nie trzymają już po roku, przemakają na mokrej trawie i ściółce. W poprzednch modelach to się nie zdarzało.

Most Uncomfortable Ultras I've Owned

I've had Ultras for more than 10 years. The uppers on these are stiff and instead of flexing, fold like a thick plastic sheet. When I walk the fold digs into my toes. In addition they don't breathe so after a short time my foot feels hot and sweaty. I've never had these issues with my last 4 pair. Not an improvement.

No Need To Wear In

There is a reason I buy the same Gortex Ultra with loop lace well actually there’s a couple of reasons! Firstly having Double major curve Scoliosis, spinal stenosis, etc these are the only shoes I wear as I have spent a whole day in them and still comfortable. I have problems bending so the loop lace is beyond simple and my go to choice when you struggle bending. I have to walk daily and living in the UK we get just a little rain so the gortex keep my feet dry. I also struggle with circulation and cold feet but they also keep my feet warm. I’ve been wearing these for last 6 years.

Unremarkable Shoe.

I am a repeat customer of this type of shoe because there are features that like. This shoe has the easy tighten laces that are very practical. It is largely comfortable after a few wearings. I'm not as pleased with it because the left shoe makes a flapping sound as I walk. The toe box is also not as comfortable. The shoes also have the same soles which wear down too fast, in my opinion.

Comfort And Support!

I am thrilled with my new Solomons. The ample space in the toe box is very comfortable and the ankle and arch supports are ideal for spending lots of time wearing these on a daily basis.

Best Walking /Hiking Shoe For High Arch

I have a very high arch and it’s very hard for me to get footwear these shoes are comfortable while providing excellent support

5 Star Comfort & Grip, 3 Star Durability

This is my 2nd pair of these shoes because I loved the 1st pair so much. I have chronic achilles inflammation (mid point) and these minimize my pain. I use them for all activities now (walking, hiking) except when I really really need more ankle support. The grip is fabulous in my dry country on loose dirt, big rocks and shale. I have narrow feet and the easy lacing system allows me to have a snug fit. My first pair wore out on the inside of the heel within 1 year. This pair is still fine after 1 year. Expensive but worth every penny for minimizing my Achilles pain. Best shoe ever.

X-ultra 4

The shoes are nice. Just big. Sure wish they came in Narrow! I’ve put powerstep insoles in them and still swim around in them. You’re not alone. I can’t find any weatherproof hiking shoes in AA. I would recommend only to people with wide feet

Ultra For Frigid Alberta Temps Perfect

love the X Ultra 4 goretex-- great for winter trails (with yak traks added when solid ice on trailes) I was seeking a warmer shoe because my feet always freeze in temps below minus 15C and I've finally found it! great on hill climbs. love the shoe. wide toe box excellent for my foot and wearing a second sock if needed. I have won Salomons in all seasons for many decades and this is the best winter shoe to date. Have only worn for 3 weeks--but wear daily; will be watching how the sole wears.
