Wider Than Previous Model

I’d finally found the genesis to fit my narrow feet for technical trails - and then the Genesis 2 goes wider. Unfortunately it’s too wide for me in the forefooot, and I wouldn’t call it a “narrow” show anymore. I can really tighten the laces to make it work, but then it’s pushing my foot down, and still isn’t snug enough on the side for technical trails. It also feels longer, like maybe I need to size down. I already wear an half size smaller from all my other running shoes in the Genesis, so I might try this model in a whole size smaller - geez! Aside from the change in fit it’s still a great shoe. But what are people with narrow feet supposed to do?!

These shoes are amazing. The first time I wore them for an 11-mile hike in Rocky Mountain National Park. The next weekend was 45 miles over 4 days in the Wind Rivers. Excellent Trail/walking Shoes

These Genesis 2 trail running shoes are excellent. Comfortable right out of the box with no awkward break-in time on the heel. I wasn't sure I would like the quick lace system but I actually really do. I had to get the hang of them at first but now they feel more secure than standard lace-ups. They are true to size and the witch is perfect for my feet. I have a high arch and feel supported too. There is a good amount of bounce and they feel suctioned to my feet. They are stable and enjoyable to walk/run in.

Genesis 2

I have worn Genesis for the past 2 years. I need a wider toe box and this shoe gives me the space that I need. The shoe is comfortable from the first time I wear it. I walk approximately 30 to 35 miles per week and this shoe keeps its shape and comfort for several months. I have worn this shoe on the past 2 Caminos de Santiago that I have walked and I never had any blisters or for problems the entire Camino.
