Ordered these as a replacement for some speedcross Solomon’s that were worn through. These work great for the trails as well as the daily walks of the dog.

This is at least the 4th pair of these I've owned. I was having Achilles soreness. In 2019 I spent a week wearing the Salomon Quest 4D GTX 2 hiking boots and my Achilles pain cleared up. A local retailer said the XA PRO 3D V9 GTX has the same foot bed and should keep me from having Achilles pain. He was correct. What a relief. In addition I've always had problems with perspiration on my feet. The shoes are well ventilated and I not longer have perspiration problems.

Toes are too rigid for either walk or run. The lace is too short and since it's permanently attached to the hooks you can't even change it it for a longer one.

Love the shoe. Trying to get the same without the gtx, for summer, breathability, in surf blue, but unavailable here, Canada. 🇨🇦

Excellent shoe for world travelers. Traveling, running, hiking, dining and even in Antarctica, this shoe does it all.

These are my first pair of hiking shoes and I would really recommend them. They are stable, supportive and comfortable. I bought them for a hiking holiday in North Wales and they were fantastic and even survived a plunge into some boggy land - feet stayed dry!

I've been buying these shoes for 10+ years. The waterproofing used to be the bomb! Then about 5 yrs ago it changed. I chalked it up to Covid supply chain issues but the quality never recovered. Now walking in wet grass makes my feet damp, even in a new pair. I still buy them because of my difficult-to-fit feet but it's a bummer they're definitely not like the old days. Also, please add more unisex colors in the men's version! Black, brown and gray are a drag. Or add a wide version of the women's. The men's non-GTX version usually has a few color options so please add to the GTX version

My husband works for UPS and this was a suggested shoe by a coworker its the first time in 10 years working that he has had a pair of work shoes he didnt blow through in just a couple months - he trots 10 plus miles a day outside in the city so he puts on a lot of wear and tear and these are comfortable and very durable! highly suggest!

The shoes fit well, but the fabric used to fill the space between the laces and the toe is prone to making a popping sound as I walk. This appears to be caused by the stiffness of this fabric. It is kind of annoying and I'm not sure if this noise will diminish over time.

This is the 7th pair that I have purchased over the years, and I find the quality of the XA PRO 3D GTX continues to be unsurpassed. Accurate sizing, no break-in time, and reliable performance. The no-tie lacing system is a big reason I keep coming back.

I think the Toebox is hard and it is taking longer time to break in.

This model was not great for long walks or hikes for me. Hurt my Achilles and had to purchase another brand to complete the tour. Thought this Solomon would have done the job but failed me.

I've been buying different versions of this and similar shoes for many years and just received this pair to replace one that was more that two years old. Very comfortable, love the lacing system, the GoreTex works very well. I've used them for hiking, walking, occasional running, and just around town.

So comfortable and perfect for commute and general wear. Going to purchase another pair!
