Fantastic boot for my lifestyle... My 4th pair of Salomons over the years and they have never disappointed my feet, legs, back, etc.... Lifelong Harley rider and outdoorsman survivalist.... With Salomon I don't have to think about my feet all year long - Zero worry... Highly Recommend Any Salomon Boot... The investment will come back to you tenfold....

Been wearing these for 1 month, broken in enough to know these are another typical pair of Salomon shoes/boots that fit very well, are exceedingly comfortable and supportive. There's a reason I stick with Salomon

This is my third pair of Salomon X Ultras - every pair has been comfortable right out of the box with little to no break-in time required. They have been a great light weight, water resistant boot for hiking, backpacking, and hunting for me.

I bought these because of my weak ankles and they’ve been super supportive and comfortable to wear. Highly recommend

These are great for long hikes. I have pretty weak ankles and these have provided a lot of stability on uneven surfaces on PNW hikes. Highly recommend!

Like the title, I keep getting blisters on my big and pinky toe because the toe box is too narrow

I've had a ton of the x ultras. The x ultra 5 is the best I've had.

I bought these to wear for work. They are comfortable and seem to be holding up well. They will soon get a much more severe test while hiking in Africa

I struggle finding good boots that don’t hurt my feet but these are perfect. Highly recommend.

The shoe itself is very lightweight, but sturdy enough to provide plenty of support in the foot and ankle. Styling and color look great (true to photos), and the GTX makes them waterproof enough to pass through puddles and streams without getting your entire foot soaked. Only thing I'd call out (more of a personal preference here): I find that the insole is quite stiff, even after 4-5 long hikes wearing a thick wool sock. Nothing an added layer of protection can't fix for me, but it is noticeable after a few hours moving around in them.

This is the 4th pair of X Ultra "N" Mid GTX since 2015 (or something like that). Previous X Ultra shoes have resisted walks on the Pyrenees, Torres del Paine, Loire Valley, Costa Rica and much more. I like their aesthetics, comfort and the sens of security. Oh, and the water-resistant feature is also great.

super comfortable hiking boots that help back pain and neck pain while you are hiking. 5 stars.

I usually get a size 7 and have had a pair of boots from Salomon for years but when I hiked with these my toes hit the front. Not fun.

I bought these for a hike along the Blue Ridge Trail and I have say to I much prefer them to my old Merrills. They are as comfortable as bedroom slippers and near indestructible. I never felt the need to take them off to let me feet air out and cool off. My hiking buddies all want a pair now.

I’ve hiked in a lot of terrains with the X-Ultra 5 and have really enjoyed them! My only con is that they don’t make the Quest in the wide option.
