Purchased these boots as replacement hiking boots for my husband, he loves them, keeps his feet dry even in wet weather.

I've owned these boots for about a year now, gone on many hunting trips (from the woods of Kentucky to the mountains of Colorado), and they're definitely the best boots I own. They're very comfortable, durable, lightweight, and have great ankle support. They work great on any terrain (if it be the Rocky mountains or a sidewalk).

This shoe is very comfortable and looks great. I highly recommend it.

My nearly one year old shoes have survived more than six-hundred miles of light hiking and long walks on gravel access roads, near and in Maine’s north woods. Would I purchase another pair? Definitely.

Very happy with the comfort and style. A great looking hiking shoe right out of the box.

Over many years I have owned a few pairs of these boots and each pair have been super comfortable on my feet and have withstood daily use as well as wearing these while on duty. I would and will buy these again.

I was very impressed with how comfortable the shoes were. I was able to traverse rocky terrain with little effort.

I bought them about a year ago for hiking and casual wear, the fit and durability is so good that I bought the Ultra Glide 4 Wide for casual wear about 6 months ago and am now buying the Quest 4D Gore-Tex Forces 2 for hunting, range shooting and everyday work around the ranch. At 67 yrs old I need foot support and comfort that last all day. I will buy Salomon products from now on. I would buy saddle boots if they made them.

These didnt hold up like previous pairs I have bought. They only lasted 3 months before loops and laces broke.

As a 50+ active male with aches and pains, I was searching for a lightweight shoe to provide ankle support while still looking sleek. With already owning multiple pairs of Salomons, I had extremely high expectations. It took about three times wearing them to break them in and after that, they became my go to shoe. I wear them with jeans on a date, casual walks with the wife, and soon on the AT through the mountains of PA. Being lightweight they doesn’t fatigue me and give me confidence to challenge myself knowing I have ankle support.

I bought my ultras approximately one year ago and they’re no longer waterproof. I love the fit and function of these boots but I’m really disappointed that they now let water in. Creases have formed at the toe box resulting in torn fabric and I believe that’s were the water is coming in. The fabric should last much longer than approximately one year.

Been hiking mountains in Acadia Natioal Park. The X-Ultra are lightweight, great ankle support, good grip, can hike all day and my feet are ready for the next days hike.
