I got it on a discount so it's really worth the price. It's good for everyday walk. Not for wet environments.

I wear mine for over 10 every day. They are one of the only shoes that don’t cause me foot, leg, and hip pain.
I got the black ones. They are sharp looking. I have tried many pairs as I recover from some foot ailments and these give me the arch support I need will providing overall comfort too. I have other pairs of Solomon shoes and they all provide a bit different response. These are probably more in line with a more cushioned step and I so I'd probably compare this one more to the now popular Hoka's. If you don't like the look of Hoka's, you might want to look at these to give you a similar step response.

I ordered a pair of shoes in November and everything went smoothly. Got the shoe within 2 weeks. Placed another order and still havent received it in 3 weeks. Called them and they can't find my order even though I have the order number and can see it on their website. They have to escalate to try and find my order even though they charged me for the shoe. This should not be happening.

I bought these shoes a few weeks ago and have absolutely loved them. I can do a distance run and a speed run in them.

The reason why I started looking into Salomon shoes is because of my plantar fasciitis. I have been dealing with this foot pain for the past 2-3 months and it does not seem to be getting better. In fact I was starting to get a sharp pain in my right foot. I had switch out to different shoes and it seem to help a little, but the pain was still there. Once I switch out to my new salomon spectur, I can feel the different in support. It felt like a little compression on my feet because of the support through out the shoes. The pain did not disappear over night. I have been wearing these salomon spectur for about 2 week now and notice that the sharp pain in my right foot has gone away. It appears that my plantar fasciitis is getting better.

Width and length are good, nice looking shoes, I get complements frequently. Good support for walking.

These shoes look good and feel good...at first. I found them quite a bit heavier than my last pair of road shoes (Predict MODs) with a lower drop and a lot more cushion. These caused so much fatigue in my legs, primarily my calves and shins, that it felt like I was running through sand. I won't be running in them anymore; maybe I'll try using them for walks and see how that goes. I also dislike how the tongue is sewn in with a completely un-stretchy material, I had to cut down the sides of the tongues to relieve the pressure across the top of my foot.

I like the shoes, but are not really made for daily running. I switch them out as needed with trail runners.
