I needed a pair of shoes that I can take almost everywhere without thinking much about the terrain. Sense Ride does the job very well. They are not perfect for very technical terrain but they will still get the job done if that is the only pair you have. I used them for 2 weeks straight in different kind of trails - road, rocky, muddy, gravel. They did very well. Not disappointed with Salomon.

Used for a couple 50k races and a marathon and held up wonderfully. Probably put 800km on the pair before relegating them to hikers/walkers. These are my daily runners.

I purchased these about six months ago but just recently took them out of the box now that the weather is warming up. So far I love them very comfortable right out the box. All around great fit for my foot no rubbing whatsoever. The only complaint is the tongue part does slide down a little bit. I did change the insole for higher arch. Cannot rate durability yet due to only wearing them for a week now.

Have had a couple versions of the Sense Ride and the 4 is my favorite. The fit is perfect and very comfortable. All of my Sense Ride shoes have been very durable, the sole lasts a long time. Usually the first thing to wear out is the top of the heel cup but that takes a while. Only complaint I have with the 4 is the tongue tends to slide down a little but not so much that it's uncomfortable.

I have been wearing these for a couple months now and use them for weight lifting, HIIT workouts, and some trail jogging. I wanted a more all purpose kit than my previous trainers which really hurt any time I ran or walked for a distance. These took a little getting used to but not much. They fit like a glove are very lightweight and seem to be holding up well. I wear them 3-5 times a week and sometimes they’ll stay on all day. No issues with traction for me, and the reported “sounds” we’ll all shoes make some sound in my opinion whether it’s the materials flexing or the rubber against the trail or tarmac either contact or release… if you’re moving it shouldn’t be the thing that gets in your way. If you really can hear anything from the shoes you maybe need to go faster or push a little harder or turn up your earbuds… or go with a friend. These are great all around shoes. Happy with Salomon again

I have problems with my feet. They are just what I need. Your comfort block below is messed up. Would not let me post a positive comfort

First thing I’ll note is that Salomon marks this as a “moderate” cushion shoe when it’s really not. Stack is quite low. I can’t really see doing long runs in these unless you really care about cushioning. That said, they give a good groundfeel. Just not for me, but I still use them as hiking shoes.
I normally wear an 11 but now need a 10.5 in this brand.

Overall, for this pricepoint it may be the best all-round shoe. Something you can use as your daily walker, and then go straight to technical terrain. Great traction. Balance seems good but I haven't taken it to the trails yet. Seems well made technically and durable, hopefully the lugs don't wear out from everyday wear but they probably will in a year or two of walking on pavement (which is normal.) + Looks great. The lace system is good but its not exactly "quick". The shoe is a little stiff out of the box, has to be worn for a few weeks, which is surprising since it doesn't have a rock plate, I was hoping it would be a little softer but you trade durability when its too soft. I got +1 size and the fit is as expected.

Usually wear 9's. Bought 8.5 as 9's were way too long. 8.5's were a great length, but soon narrow. I couldn't get them to be comfortable no matter what. Feet hurt after 10 minutes in them.

I bought these the sense ride 4's about a month ago and have put on about 67KM of running to date. I bought these shoes for the similarities to the speedcross (another favorite) but was extremely impressed by how light they were when I picked them up, I was skeptical that durability was sacrificed, but so far I have not found that the case. The light weight is great for higher mileage runs without fatiguing the legs, the foot has support, but as described a neutral support leaving you with a very natural feel. I will be putting these and the two other pairs I subsequently bought to the ultimate test this year, on several ultramarathons.

I love this pair, I had ordered a previous pair returned them for this pair. BUT I have not gotten my refund for the primal pair I ordered. Can you help me?

Had trouble getting this on my foot. Bought the same size I’ve been wearing for several years.

I have yet to own a pair of Salomon shoes that I don’t like. These were no different. Light weight and comfortable. I wear mine all the time.

I bought these 2-3 months ago. I ran in them and traveled in them. They feel light and comfortable and I like the style. I got the white
